Blue Ribbon House is a grand looking building with five stories. The building is of Victorian design and you enter through a large arched foyer, the front door has a stained glass window at the top that has a picture of a horse flying over an oxer. The inside foyer is artistically designed and welcoming to those who enter. The students whom live within may not give such a warm reception though…

Red Ribbon House has the look of an old library building with its many alcoves and windows on the three floors. The walkway leading to the front door is lined with an artistically arrangement of red roses. The door that opens to welcome you in is made of simple wood but carved into the wood is a trail of roses that lead up the outside panels of the door. You enter into an open foyer and the first thing that catches your eye is the chandelier that hangs from the ceiling, the glass droplets bouncing the light around the room to make it all the more brighter.

Yellow Ribbon House is designed in the fashion of an English Manor. The gardens are well manicured and the grounds tended to by not only the ground's keepers but also the residents of the House.

White Ribbon House stands closest to the barn, and in fact on first impression tends to look like that a ranch house – if you didn’t pay too much attention to the fact that it has three floors – with its many connecting wings and doors that open to the outside along most of the lower floor of the building.

The library has thousands of books to choose from. Come here to do homework, study, or just relax in a quiet place.

Here is the school's cafe. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and have a wide variety of foods to choose from for each meal.

All mandatory and elective courses are held here. Students are required to attend all classes. Absences must be talked over with professor of course.

The gym is equipped with a work-out room, pool, basket ball court, dance/ballet studio, gymnastics hall and many other different activities.

This is one of the main barns on campus. It is very luxurious and the stalls are 12 feet square with a dutch door into the stall from the barn aisle and a large window that opens to the outside so even the barn-bound horses don't get claustrophobic.
Horse's (show/registered) names beginning with Q-Z shall be boarded here.

This barn is smaller, and located further away from the other barns. It houses stallions only. The stalls are somewhat small, but each it attached to a rectangular pen with six foot high metal railing for adequate exercise.

This barn houses the academy's broodmares (or any other mares that are close to term) and is where the reproduction classes are held. The barn is close to the vet clinic.

After a long hard day of riding, you can come here and give your horse a nice refreshing bath. The water has hot and cold options.

Here you will find the offices for the various riding instructors, the of the equine theory courses will be held here. Attendance is necessary, and absences count against you.

Here you will find the Academy's outdoor arenas.

This Olympic sized indoor arena is surfaced in sand and has dressage markers around the outside. The arena is closed off from the stands by a perspex wall so that the horse will not be interrupted by the people watching.

The eventing classes are held here. Each class can be broken down into single classes. Dressage, Show Jumping, and Cross-Country.

Here are the rings for the inter-scholar competitions. It is guest friendly for our visiting schools. If I catch any members from here posting without logging in, I will delete your post and kick you off the team.

This is a round pen that measures 55 feet in diameter. Lunging and training your horses is preferred, no regular riding please.

This garden was created in honor of all of the horses that students and staff had to let move on over the years. Among the lushious flowers and bushes there are a number of benches and trees, perfect for sitting and remembering. There is a memorial section in the middle of the garden, where students may remember their beloved horses.

If you speculate your horse is having tooth problems, come get him checked up at the equine dentist. Walk-in's are welcome.

Come here to get your horse shod. If your horse has a hoof problem, don't be surprised if the vet and farrier work together. Call-outs are also available.

Farrier: Jesse King

The trails here run both up and downstream. Some trails are quick, but if you have an entire day, you cane ride down to the waterfall.

The best place to buy food for your horses, and other animals.

The title kinda explains it all. This is where students or staff members come when the school nurse won't do.

Here is the local animal shelter. Pets are up for adoption Monday-Friday. Volunteers are always welcome and needed. Pets that can no longer be cared for can be surrendered and assured a good home.

Come and check out the latest blockbusters at the Blue Ridge Cinema.
As well as playing all the newest releases, you can also come here to watch the older movies (like Casablanca). Don't forget to get food and drink from the snack bar before your movie starts.

Here is where all the main (indoor) functions happen at Blue Ridge, from town meetings to local dances. The building may look old and have the appearance that it will fall over at the slightest puff of wind, but the building is built to stand anything.

The fairgrounds is different then the riding center. All horse shows and other events are held here (including the horse auctions). Even a few traveling carnivals come into town every once in a while.

Here is a place we you can come to give you dog a run chill out without being surrounded by horses. In the reserve is a playground for the children, many well tended gardens with pathways leading through them and at the far end is a large lake that is used for swimming in the summer and if it gets cold enough to freeze, skating in the middle of the winter. Feel free to try your hand at fishing, but I can't promise a bite.

Here is a classy restaurant that over looks the Blue Waters River. The table clothes are spotless white, and the red wine is deep and rich. Better make sure you can cover the tab.

The jumpiest joint in Blue Ridge with live music on Friday nights. No cover charge after 11 p.m.

A quaint 60's themed fast food parlor. Get a greasy cheeseburger or a batch of fried cheese sticks. Have some soft serve ice cream for dessert!

Student's get 10% discount with proof of I.D.
