Sara snorted as the girl told her what she and her horse did in competition, "Sounds a lot like reining, if you ask me, except we throw a few spins in there as well." She grinned, "Just joking, it's probably more like Western pleasure." She hadn't ridden Western Pleasure too much, although Rolo was trained for the discipline, at least in technicality. It was a fun thing to do at times, though, and the flatwork was a lot like what they needed anyway.
After rubbing the soap into Rolo's coat, Sara set the bucket wit the remnants of the soapy water to the side and picked up the hose again. She ran the water over her hand until she was happy with the temperature, then started rinsing Rolo off again, watching the suds drip away from the tovero's sides. She heard Cal's question and grinned, "Rolo and I do reining, mostly, which is kinda like dressage, I suppose, except it's not as stiff, and then my other horse, Balian, is trained mostly for barrel racing, so I compete in that as well, whenever I get a chance. Rolo is also good for western pleasure, although I'm not too big a fan of it."
