The Personality
Personality: Laddy is easily excited in the ring, but knows his job. Every once and awhile he finds something that spooks him, but with the right ride this is usually avoidable as the warning signs are pretty clear. He tends to rush fences, which is the cause for most of his rails, but when he is having a good day he is both quick and clean. Laddy is fairly friendly on the ground, but doesn't go out of his way to find attention. He enjoys apple flavored treats, but it pretty picky about much else.
Caution Around: Nothing really. He is mild mannered when it comes to the ground.
The History
Basic History: Laddy was born in Germany and shipped over to the United States in 2010 when Sarah Greenfield purchased him. Up until that point he had basic dressage for help on the flat and was coming along fairly well in jumping. His first show season began last year where he had some decent ribbons in the 1.10 m jumpers, but Sarah hopes to move him up to the bigger stuff this year. If all goes well, grand prixs will be his ultimate destination.
