.Elinore Campbell.
Full Name: Elinore Charlotte Campbell
Nick Names: Ellie
Student or Staff: Staff, Cross Country Instructor
Age: 28
Ethnicity: British
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Physical Description: Elinore is a delicately pretty girl to look at. Her heart shape face is framed by dark, gently waved dark brown locks. In the summer, the sun pulls out many different shades in her hair, ranging from copper, to bronze and a much lighter brown in some areas. It's rarely left loose around her face though, as she finds it annoying so it's either in a scraggly, rushed bun or a high pony tail.
A feature that usually pulls in a spectator straight away to the lovely Ellie are her eyes. A beautiful, crystal clear blue colouring instantly draws a person in, and the fact that they almost always hold a flash of annoyance in them tends to amuse. They tend to darken when completely angered, but usually remain their natural colour.
Her lips are another eye catching feature upon her face. Plump and soft, she has a habit of biting her bottom lip while thinking or trying to hold back an emotion from showing. She also tends to assault the light pink feature when unsure of herself or embarrassed.
At 5'6, she comes across as taller than she actually is. This is because she keeps herself in such good shape. Her body type is willowy, and she knows how to dress herself to make herself look taller too. She tends to stick to heeled boots unless she's working or riding, and almost always has a leather jacket on. She holds herself well also, her walk confident even with her limp. She could never come across as weak, and people tend to watch her as she passes.
Personality: Elinore is not a very patient person. In fact, she isn't at all patient. Her time is very valuable, and if you're there to waste it, you're instantly in her bad books. She cannot deal with people who just want to sit and talk for hours, she always has to be on the move. She cannot sit still for lengthy periods of time, and this is why an instructor is the perfect job for her. She also shows no mercy, which is either a plus or a negative in her line of work. Many like her unforgiving, harsh routines, but there are equally as many that find her a slave driver. She doesn't care though. She's getting her job done, and in the long run helping a person improve their riding and having them go on to succeed. She knows when she goes a little too far and will correct it, but there is no denying her attitude gets her the results she wants.
Ellie is very much the workaholic and will spend as much time as she can in her place of work. At the yard, and the stables, are where she feels most at home. Her colleagues are like her family. She's like the protective big sister, complaining about them when they are around her all the time, but snapping at anyone who dare insult them. She has a very mama bear approach to those she's closest too. Caring and protective, yet always the one to keep them in line. She's always first to leap up and defend their honor, never afraid to back down from a fight. But, she's also a very independent person and doesn't need to surround herself with others 24/7. Her friends could go days without hearing from her, and they knew not to disturb her unless it was an emergency. Her social skills are not the greatest and she does try to work on them, but sometimes she just needs time to re-cooperate before heading out on the social scene again.
Elinore's emotions are very intense, and they change very quickly. One minute she can be perfectly happy, laughing away and having the time of her life. The next, she can be furious. It only takes small things to set her off, and it can really be a burden some times. She hates that it happens, but somehow cannot help herself. Her temper though, is really a sight to behold. You can see it building up inside her, she just freezes and locks eyes with the person who caused her to get all riled up. Her glare becomes heavy and threatening, yet her victim has no idea what to do. Especially if it's the first time they've been on the receiving end of her temper. Many would expect her to shout next, but actually her vocals come out in a soft, yet menacing manner. Eventually, she'll erupt and the swearing and shouting will begin. Thankfully, it doesn't take her too long to calm down and she'll be back to herself. At least until the next thing sets her off.
As we've all ready established, Elinore is an extremely sensitive person but she's also very passionate about the things she loves. Take her pets for example. Not many people would take in a black and white ball of fluff who'd been found on the streets, name him Meow and put up with his vicious, cunning ways. And then there is Chee, a mare with an attitude to match her mistress. Her passion is her animals, well any animal actually. She doesn't do things half heartedly, and is determined to get things done once started. She doesn't back away from a challenge as a rule, albeit a stupid rule at times, but a rule she has always followed.
Love. Falling in love isn't something Ellie believes in. Mainly because it's never happened to her personally, but also because she has never desired to do so. Lust? She was a strong believer in that. Crushes? Yeah, them too. But love and soul mates? No way. Her upbringing definitely had something to do with it, her parents obviously did not love one another. In fact, they both said on many occasions that they were only still married because of the kids. As soon as Ellie was old enough to care for herself, they split. She, and her siblings also knew that both their parents cheated on one another frequently throughout their relationship. This was sure to swear anyone off love. Her suspicions were confirmed when she grew older, realizing men only really wanted her for one thing. She grew tired of trying to convince herself that it did exist and just accepted that it didn't soon after she turned 21. She just started using men as much as they were using her.
History: Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Ellie's childhood wasn't the greatest but it also wasn't the worst. Her parents had never been affectionate, and with Elinore being the last child, they were fed up with the baby routine. She'd been a 'surprise' (code word for mistake) that wasn't really wanted. It was her older sister that usually cared for her, and her brother. Her mother was usually out with her new bit on the side, and her father down the pub with some floozy. Elinore accepted it, Lucy accepted it, Harrison accepted it.
School years came quickly to Ellie, but they didn't pass as fast as she hoped. One thing she did love though was coming home and knowing she would be able to go out horse riding with her sister. Her parents had bought their daughters horses to keep them happy while they were away for weeks at a time. The girls honestly couldn't care less any more, and Harrison and Ellie were happier when Lucy was in charge. At least then, they would be properly cared for.
When Ellie had finally finished her Highers, coming away with an A* in physical education, and A's in both History and French, she got praise from only her siblings. Her father just grunted, and her mothers' response? "Oh, that's nice dear." Ellie had had enough. Packing her bags, she decided she needed to get away from Scotland once and for all. So the eighteen year old said her goodbyes and fled, Ending up in America, she began to train various people to ride the cross country courses. She'd been competing pretty much ever since her sister bought her her first horse. She quickly established a name for herself and had job offers left right and center.
The health nut, whom also had a black belts in Taekwondo and Karate, was an avid runner and rider. The girl bought her first horse in America a little more than a year ago. Chee. She'd been riding other people's horses to fill the void, even competing at time to time in her chosen field of cross country. She was quite well known, for her harsh attitude to humans but loving, compassionate side toward her steeds. Yet, it wasn't enough. Her eyes, and her grumpy feline's who she'd acquired two years after moving to America, fell on Chee when they were at a barn she exercised a few horses at. The mare had been brought as a write off because she was too stubborn to listen and not worth the effort. Ellie knew she had to have her. There started the beautiful, but extremely rocky relationship between a woman and her mare.
Now, Elinore finds herself at Blue Ridge Academy, taking up a job as the Cross Country instructor. Fed up of all the moving around to go from client to client, she wanted a job with just one base. She needed a change, and this seemed like the perfect place. Will the academy be able to put up with three new feisty faces? Or will they be rejected? One things for sure, it's going to be a wild and crazy ride!
Misc.: A lot of injuries;
- Riding accident when she was fourteen, pretty much shattered her knee in her left leg. Walks with a pretty prominent limp because of it, though it doesn't pain her at all any more.
- Has broken her right arm once, and also dislocated it.
- A small scar above her left eye brow, caused the same time as when she shattered her knee.
- Broken her nose herself twice, had it broken for her once.

Name: Meow
Age: Eight
Species: Feline
Breed: Moggy

Personality: Sly, grumpy and bossy. Three words that would fit Meow perfectly. The feline believes that he is the boss and nobody should challenge that. He does as he pleases and completely ignores everyone except Elinore. He tolerates his owner because she gives him cuddles and feeds him. Even then, she often falls victim to his ambushes. He won't be seen unless he wants to be, and has a tendency to follow Elinore where ever she goes, even if she doesn't know he's there.
History: Meow's history isn't known to his current owner. She'd been in America three years when she found him on the side of the road as a malnourished kitten. She immediately took him in and nursed him to health. He's been with her, causing trouble, ever since.
