Her previous class having been a salutary experience, Nadifa was very careful to make sure that her preparations for the arrival of her chemistry students involved writing seating instructions upon the board. Having been slightly disappointed by the lack of initiative shown by her biology class, who had appeared to be quite content to cluster aimlessly unless given a direct instruction, she had had to firmly remind herself that she knew not the vagaries of how the Academy worked, and should therefore give them the benefit of the doubt. For all she knew, it was customary to be told where to sit here, and she could not fault students for not knowing that she had different expectations.
Indeed, it had appeared that they had been most confused, much as she was by their actions, and so her disappointment had been entirely internal, and more than half directed at herself. Not wishing a repeat, however, she had taken to the whiteboard (when being shown her classroom, she had been most glad that she had managed to avoid one with a blackboard, for she found chalk terribly irritating) with a black pen, scribing in her firm, clear hand the following:Welcome to Chemistry. I am Ms. Kahin. Please sit where you like; for today's lesson, you may choose to work in groups of 2 or 3 if you wish. Stepping back from the board and replacing the cap upon the pen, she decided that that would suffice. Well aware of the fact that she was on a learning curve herself - it hadn't been that long, after all, since she had been the one filing into classrooms, and she felt the sharp prick of her lack of experience keenly - she was resolved to improve herself, and had no desire to make the same mistakes twice. Though she would give her students the benefit of the doubt, she accorded herself no such leeway, and as such examined and analysed her every action with even more care than she usually did.
Shifting her gaze to the clock, she noted that students would shortly be arriving, and turned her back upon the board, looking over the classroom and checking upon the rest of her preparations. The high tables were arranged as they had been before, in parallel rows, for she saw no reason to change the configuration for any of the science subjects she would be teaching, but at the front of the classroom was a trolley (whose top was about hip-height, its wheels carefully locked into place) upon which lay a selection of shut, grey plastic boxes. Next to the boxes was a stack of worksheets, a slip of coloured paper halfway through marking the difference between those for the freshman and sophomores, and those intended for the juniors and seniors of the class.

The bell rang, and the brunette stood from the desk, collected her books, and left the room, only to be on her way to her next class. She forgot how long days could be, when the eight to three was spent in school. She had been so spoiled by summer. And, then, even when she had went to Germany, she was basically 'home-schooled' while over there on the set and did her work whenever she pleased.
Her chocolate orbs glanced down at the slightly wrinkled schedule on top of her binder. Chemistry. The brunette wasn't sure of the class. She had heard that this professor, who also taught Biology was a new woman, and she was tedious and very professional. That was great news, so much for a slack off class. Even though, Brooke would have put the same amount of effort in either way. But if she didn't like a teacher, she could always go complain to Mr. Bentley. Not that he would do anything... but, he might. Maybe if the girl asked sweet enough, or smiled just right and batted her eyelashes.
Looking back up she spotted the room number she need to be in. The seventeen year old pulled her lips into a tight smile, and she stepped into the classroom in her little gaudy outfit. It wasn't exactly 'lab' clothes but, would they honestly be messing with 'dangerous' chemicals today? Her eyes landed on the professor, a skinny woman with short hair. She did look like she was serious about her job. Brooke offered her a small smile before glancing to the board and silently reading it. She swallowed, unsure of how to pronounce the teacher's name. Turning to the science tables, she walked to a seat in the middle of the front row and pulled the stool chair out, and sat down, resting her books on the table top.
Her manicured hand went to her hair, as she felt that her waves were still in place, and her headband was angled right on her head, with her poofy bangs swept to the side in front. Being a pretty girl was such hard work.

Sam went up to her room to change out of her boots and jeans. She had been in the barns for classes so it was time for another shower today. After the cold shower, she wrapped herself in a towel, and picked out some clothes. A pretty, colorful, tank top, a pair of denim shorts, and a blue hoodie in case the classroom was cold. Before she slipped on her grey pumps she put on her anklet, and wristbands. Last but not least was her eyes. She put on some light gold eyeshadow to contrast the blue eyes, and a little mascara. Once all of her morning prep was finished she grabbed her phone and bag. She kissed her pup on the head, and headed out the door. Sam walked through the science building until she came up to the chemistry classroom. The room was nice, not to drab, and the woman in the room looked nice too. She smiled at the woman "Hello." Her gazed immediately switched from the teacher to the board. She smiled again as she saw they got to chose there seats for today, another plus they got to sit in groups too. There was already a girl in the classroom when she got there. She was a pretty brunette in adorable shoes. "Hey, you mind if I sit with you?" Sam waited quietly for an answer exchanging a smile at the brunette. Outfit

Milisa walked inot her not so faveorite class, she only liked the riding courses. She never saw the point of science, or history for that matter. But, she would have to deal with it if she wanted to suceed in life. She wanted to be a horse vetranarian, but she didn't chemistry would help her in any way. She realized she was about to drop her stuff, so she quit thinking for a minute and kept walking. She walked the teacher. "Good morning.''Milisa said with a smile. She hoped this class would fly by, she wanted to finish all her boring classes quickly and the horse classes to last forever. She took a seat next to the brunette, and put down her books and her folder. "Nice hair."Milisa said glancing at the brunette's pretty bangs, and wavy hair. She had a feeling this girl had a sense of style.
Milisa looked up and read the white board, in black print it read, Welecome to Chemistry. I am Ms.Kahin. Please sit where you like;for today's lesson, you may work in groups of 2 or 3 if you wish. 'You want to be partners?''I asked the girl next to me.

The brunet walked into the classroom that was said to be where his science class was. His hazel orbs drifted to the professor, "Ms. Kahin," he dipped his head with a smile. He wasn't trying to earn brownie points, but being nice to professors sometimes had its advantages.
Tyson walked further into the room, seeing three beautiful girls sitting together on the front row. Dang, he was one too late. The board had said groups of two to three. He at least still offered them all a crooked smile as he walked by. Oh well, the view from the back wouldn't be too bad either. The boy sighed as he walked to the second row and sat in the second seat, setting his books on the desk. He sighed and started to look around the room, before landing his gaze back on the girls. They were the most interesting thing in the room after all, two of them in shorts. The brunette had on a rather revealing blouse, while the other two were a bit more modest.
The brunet lowered his gaze to his notebook and he flipped it open, writing down the date and a title on the page for the class. He wondered how many more students would show up.

Rianna entered her chemistry class. She read the board and sat down in a seat next to a girl. She got out her notebooks, binder, paper, pens and pencils. Her binder and notebooks were labeled Chemistry. For her notebooks they were labeled Chemistry Notebook One and for the second notebook the same except it said Notebook Two. Chemistry wasn't her favorite subject but she did well in it just like her other classes. So far though the brown haired dark skinend girl hadn't been teased or anything. The exact oppisate of her old school. Her old school was a private school filled with well mean girls who loved to tease and taunt anyone they could. Luckily though Rianna had one friend who stood up for her. The small girl set her secondnotebook and pencils on the floor right next to her desk. Her teacher, Ms. Kahin was supposidly new. This school was so much different then her old school. Rianna though would talk if she was spoken to, asked a question or for participation in class. Or on some occasions she started a conversation with someone. She wondered if anyone she had meet so far here at BRRA would be in this class.

Jackson had been all over the place all day long. Trying to figure out the school he guessed to himself, walking to his next class which read Chemistry on his phone. Walking down the long hallway, Jackson finally found the Chemistry classroom. Walking in, Jackson looked at the board straight away revealing, Welcome to Chemistry. I am Ms. Kahin. Please sit where you like; for today's lesson, you may choose to work in groups of 2 or 3 if you wish. Smiling at Ms.Kahin, Jackson said, "Good morning." and then turned to face the tables in long rows. He already saw a few people in groups, or at least forming them and getting to know eachother. He saw a few familar faces, while walking in between all the tables. As Jackson passed by a brunette he clearly remembered, he said, "Hey Brooke." and then continued on, not knowing the girl next to her. Seeing Milisa, Jackson just gave a little grin in her direction. At least I actknowledged you, he thought to himself. Then Tyson was spotted, walking up to his table that he had occupied, Jackson asked, "I know we got off on the wrong foot, but I was new then, and really stressed. So can we act like that never happened? Hi, I'm Jackson." he said sticking out his hand, sticking to "it never happened".

The bell rang over the school as his last class came to an end. He looked at the clocked on his wrist and then smiled. He had enough time to run and get something from the candy machine before his next class started which was Chemisty. Blaid pulled his bag over his right shoulder and began walking out of the room and down the hallway. Blair hardly knew anyone at this school for now and knew that it was going to take awhile before he would because he didn't take any equine classes. He wasn't a horse person as he was more into the sports side of Blue Ridge.
Blair walked to the end of the hallway and found the candy machine and looked at all the goodies in the metal and plastic box. Blair put in a $1.00 in change into the machine and out popped a snickers bar. Blair picked it up out of the bottom of the machine and began walking toward the Chemistry room.
Blair walked into the room that was filled with a couple girls and a few guys.Blair put his snickers wrapped into his pocket as he was to lazy to find a trashcan right now. He saw the teacher at the front of the room and bowed his head at her. Blair didn't know any of these people so choose to find a table of his own and sit at. He pulled out a chair adn sat down bringing his bag of his shoulder and to the floor. Out of repesct of the teacher Blair took his hat off and placed it on his backpack and then ran his hands thorough his hair and looked around the classroom.

Adelaide walked into chemistry after having walked around for quite some time, unable to find the classroom even with the campus map that was now bent and creased in her hand. Hello, Ms. Kahin, Adelaide greeted as she read the board in the front of the room. I'm Addie, she said with the smile that rarely left her lips. Greeting her teacher by name and introducing herself was not a ploy to get on the teacher's good side, you see. Adelaide was simply friendly and enjoyed meeting new people, even her teachers.
Adelaide walked toward the tables and took a seat off to the side of the front row. The middle seats were already taken, and the people sitting in the middle were unfamiliar to Adelaide. Normally she would have no problem going right up to people she didn't know and introducing herself, but in class she liked to stay focus on the subject at hand, even if the class hadn't even started yet. Adelaide took out her chemistry notebook, a few pens, and a water bottle from her overstuffed backpack and placed them on the table in front of her. She sat looking around, excited to start class.

Jordan had been out and about, bored all day, not really making any progress with friends since they were all learn, learn, learn, and not talk, talk, talk. So now as she headed to the main building, that held all their regular class courses, she thought that it could be worse, a lot worse. Rushing up the steps, Jordan swung open the door to the wide corridor, filled with students getting to their classes. Walking in she started down the hallway searching for Chemistry, which she eventually found..by herself, which she guessed was a bonus. Opening up the door and walking into the classroom, Jordan walked in seeing she wasn't late, but wasn't early either. Walking up to the teacher's desk Jordan said, "Hello Ms. Kahin, I'm Jordan Hill a new student here." she told the teacher and then went to sit at a desk next to a shorter, and tan skinned girl (Rianna). Reading the board, Jordan was glad it said that they could sit wherever they liked for the days lesson, and that they could work in groups of 2 or 3. Turning to the tan skinned girl she asked, "Want to be partners?"

Becca walked into her chemistry class, a little bit nervous. She usually did very well with all of her classes, but she had little background in chemistry and hoped that it would be covered in the class. That morning she'd put on a swingy little skater dress made of a light navy blue fabric with a peter pan collar. She'd slid a couple of gold bangles onto her wrist and put on gold ball earrings. Her burnt red hair was loose in waves, with a small golden hair pin holding a piece back from her face.
Walking in, she sat down next to a blonde girl and pulled her notebook and planner out of her bag, as well as a pen and mechanical pencil. She left her graphing calculator in her bag for now, not sure about whether or not it would be used in this class. She noticed the writing on the board, a little worried about having to be in groups, but she considered herself to be sort of outgoing, so it couldn't be too bad. The girl next to her, who she could later find out was Jordan, was asking another girl about being int a group so Becca took a deep breath and spoke up ,"Could I possibly be in your group as well?"

Peter walked into the classroom and stopped once he walked in to take a look at what was written on the board. He quickly focused on the words if you wish when reading about working in groups, and walked over to an empty seat, sitting down on his own. Trying to get into a group with others would be uncomfortable for both him and them, and it was easier just to work by himself.
Peter was naturally very good with science, and looked forward to this class immensely. He placed his notebook that he's brought on the desk, as well as his pencil and pen. While waiting for the class to begin, he absentmindedly began to sketch the orange that he'd brought with him on the first page of the notebook. Peter often brought fruit to his classes to eat in between, as he became hungry rather quickly and found that fruit was easy to bring to his classes and eat on the go. He'd done this at his old school, and figured that it would go just as well at Blue Ridge.
He didn't really mind the academic classes, but naturally, he couldn't wait for his equestrian classes that came this afternoon. He knew that Thimble would be all ready to go, and was very excited to work with her.

February breathed a sigh of relief when the bell rang indicating her second class at the knew school was over. but now she had to go to Chemistry, she loved Chemistry more then everything else, though she still averaged A's never any lower then an A- and getting one of those she would start to beat herself up over it. She knew she could get all A+'s and anything under that was unacceptable. She had always been really smart remembering everything she saw and heard. Though it was really music that kept her sane and she was starting to beat herself up over not signing up for a music class, she would just have to do it next semester.
She rushed down the hall toward her third class, walking into the room she smiled slightly to herself. She wasn't late thankfully. She sighed brushing her hair out of her face, the corners of her mouth turning down into a slightly frown when her fingers skimmer her scar, it began at the bottom of her left eye and went down to just under her chin. She hated the scar she thought it made her look ugly and when she tried to hide it, it seem to only show better.
Shaking her head she walked up to the teach a little more confident then with all the rest because finally she came across a female teacher so she felt more relaxed though not completely because male students were still in the room but she tried to to think about it to much. She read everything on the board before speaking to the teacher. "Hello, Ms. Kahin. I am February, I am knew to Blue ridge." She said in a polite voice before walking away and taking a seat away from the other students, leaving her only a desk away from a boy who also seemed to prefer being alone.

Calvin found his science class the easiest, and for ocne he wasn't late. He sighed a sight of relief, as the teen walked into the room with many students. He knew that he probably wasn't on the roaster and so he decided that he would go and talk to the teacher personally in a minute or so.
The thick built seventeen year old choose a desk more off to the side. He placed his bag on the floor under his desk and looked up at the board where he had noticed that the teacher had written something.
Welcome to Chemistry. I am Ms. Kahin. Please sit where you like; for today's lesson, you may choose to work in groups of 2 or 3 if you wish. Calvin read in his head.
The teen walked up to the teachers desk. "Hello Ms. Kahin, my name is Calvin Stone and I don't know if I am on your roaster or not." He gave the teacher a nice smile as he stood beside the teachers wooden desk.
