He could see her close her eyes for a moment and couldn't help but wonder if he should offer her some ice. Before he could say anything, however, she was speaking again, laughing, acting as though it was nothing, so he did too. "I'll be sure to do that sometime." He said to her with a nod of his head and a smile.
He smiled and nodded at her words and then laughed as she spoke of playing Halo. "I suck at Halo... everytime I turn it on I have no clue what to do. He said to her with a shake of his head. "Let me know when that day comes." He said to her.
She then asked him a very deep question; one that made him stop and think about how to answer it. "If I didn't have their expectations... I'd probably do some eventing, but I might have gotten into something western, or tried my hand at horse racing... Nothing this intense though. He said to her, happy with his answer.
He saw a look of confusion contort her face as she placed a hand on her stomach. He ignored what she said in response to his joke, and instead looked at her with a concerned light in his eyes. "Are you feeling okay? He asked her. [deepskyblue]"You look a little sick..."[/COLOR] He admitted to her.

The brunette shifted her weight, keeping it off of her injured leg. She'd definitely have to take it easy for a few days, and the thought angered her a bit. Shock was too high energy of a horse to go on breaks. He'd be a monster if she gave him a few days off. Maybe she'd just have to ride through the pain. She was certain nothing was broken or seriously wrong, so it was okay to push through it, right? She shook her head, giving her attention back to the boy as he spoke again. "I'll hold you to that," she replied with a grin, knowing Cassie would simply die for some extra attention. Why did she have such pushy animals?
Shock, as though able to read her mind, snorted loudly, flicking his tail and smacking her arm. She absent mindedly ran her hand over his bay coat, patting him. She laughed at his words. "That's a shame! Come over some time, I can show you everything you need to know about Halo," she replied. "Life is not life without duel yielding two guns and shooting the heck out of everything that moves," she added, laughing a bit as she realized how terrible that sounded. "Er, well, don't repeat that if you ever get arrested," she chuckled.
A softer smile came over her lips as he seemed a bit surprised by her next question. Even the fun girls could be serious. But no one ever seemed to take her seriously when she tried. She nodded as he spoke, smiling softly. "Horse racing? I think you're a bit too tall to be a jockey," she commented, looking up at him. "But Shock was a race horse. If you ever want to try, I'm sure he wouldn't complain," she added with a smile. "Sometimes it's more important to make yourself happy than others."
Hearing his question, she looked up at him, forcing a smile over her face. "Yeah, I'm great, yeah..." She frowned as she realized how unconvincing she must sound, trying to ignore the awful feeling in her stomach. "Uh, no, not really actually..." She let her blue eyes fall to the ground, not meeting his gaze in embarrassment. "But I'll be, uh, I'll be fine," she added, stumbling over her words as she wrapped an arm around her stomach, keeping her eyes on the ground.
OOC: Sorry this took so long! ):
