He listened to her talk about her mare, and was surprised that she'd already bred her twice. "Were the foals for you, or for other owners?" He asked her with a raised eyebrow, sensing they weren't her's since she didn't speak about them. Even though he didn't know her too well, he knew she'd have described them for him if she owned them.
When he spoke about where he lived, she seemed a little homesick, by her words at least. "Eight whole hours? Dang... Home-cooked meals are hard to come by, huh?" He said with a shake of his head. "If you're ever missing home, I'll take you back to 'the estate'. I don't miss it all that often, but on the rare occasion that I do, I almost convince myself to drive home." He chuckled, though he was serious. "Seriously, though, I think my parents would love to have someone else they could convert to a lifetime of Eventing." He said with a smile.

As she spoke about the foals, Diamond was suprised at the next question that had come out of Cannon's mouth. Thinking before she answered, she replied to him; deciding to tell him rather than make him wait.
One of them is still on our farm, being used as a breeder himself. He's one of the best colts ever. The other was bought by my best friend back home.
Diamond remembered the colt, all black, which suprised her at Fly's color. Though the sire was black himself. She would have to dig up some pictures soemtime.
Chuckling at his response, Diamond smiled and laughed. No kidding, I have a brother back home too, miss him so much. But I guess thats the part of moving. she said swiping her finger across the outside of her phone, inside her pocket.
Thanks, I would do the same, if you ever want to get away from home. Diamond said chuckling.
Mounting up onto Fly again, she decided that it would time to go soon. I guess we'll head off, get out of your hair. I'll see you around, and if you ever do want to come and get away from home, let me know.
With that, she pushed Fly forward, walking her to the tip of the trail, and disspearing into the woods.

He listened to her talk about the colts, confirming that she didn't really own them. Maybe there was something about the colts that had a sad story behind it, something that she didn't like to talk about. Or maybe he was just reading into it too much. He tended to do that on days he wasn't focused on work.
She spoke about her brother and he knew she missed home. There was no doubt in his mind. He wasn't exactly sure what to say to her about her brother. He was an only child, so he never had that experience of missing a sibling who stayed back home. At least not a recent one. But he wouldn't think about that.
He smiled and nodded at her offer for him to go visit her home also. "Yeah, that'd be fun." He said to her with a smile. It'd be fun to go visit Europe. He'd been a few times, but always to compete, never to experience the places themselves.
She then got back on Fly and prepared herself to go. "I'll see you around, and I'll definitely let you know soon." He said to her with a smile, watching her vanish behind the trees and into the woods. He started to push Bully towards the tree where he was sitting before she came out, but then decided it'd be better for him to just go back and try to get some work in before his next scheduled activity. With that, Bully and Can were cantering up the slope towards the arenas, leaving the trails behind them.
