The song selection now changing, she heard a chuckle come from Cannon's mouth. She laughed with him, and let herself die down after awhile.
Seeing the smirk on his face after his last response, she nodded with a grin on her face. Yes, sir. My, my, those crumpets were so good. Weird thing is, I've never even tried a crumpet. she told him. Out of all the years she had been in LOndon; she had never tried one, not once.
I couldn't ask your parents that, not with Leyla; they'd have a huge mess on their hands. One day shes a perfect angel, and then she's killing something the next. Diamond said, trying to talk him out of it. She would proably end up sending Leyla back to London with her brother; althokugh she wasn't sure how she would do that.
Thinking about her question that she had been asked, she then replied to him, Honestly, how people talk. It bothers me sometimes. Then she started to think of a question for him. Ok, what was the best thing that happened to you since you got to Blue Ridge?

He laughed at her response, liking that she always joked around with him, no matter what he said. "Never? Like ever? Well aren't you a horrible Brit?" He chuckled to her, shaking his head.
He shook his head as she said she couldn't ask his parents of that. "You could honestly just drop him off on the farm and they'd never see the thing more than once that year." He chuckled to her. "Plus, my parents love exotic animals. They've had quite a few in the past." He said to her.
He waited for her answer and laughed when he heard it. "It is weird, isn't it? How careless they are with all of their sounds, and how different they all speak from one end to the next. Too many accents, for sure." He said to her with a nod. He heard her question and sighed, leaning back and thinking about it. "Well I could say just getting away from home... Or I could be really lame and say hanging out with you." He said to her with a raised eyebrow. "What's the most trouble you've ever gotten in?" He asked her with a raised eyebrow.

Chuckling with Cannon, even after his response. She pulled a hand through her hair, letting it fall back in place afterwards. Stopping at a stoplight and then pulling forwards when it hit green, she caught glimpse of a Mustang Lauch. It was the creme color; with replaced leather in it, black. She focused back on the road, as she realized that it couldn't be.
Oh, yeah; since your parents would never see her for almost a year makes it so much better. Diamond said letting a grin spread acrossed her face. Letting her mind drift to the exotic animals, she didn't know if she'd be allowed to keep Bo; hopeffuly so. It was hard enough for Leyla to leave. Am I allowed to even keep him? Or do I have to rid of bboth of my babies? Diamond asked, pulling out her phone and mailing the school. Hopefully she would get an answer this weekend; before they left.
It is, a horrible thing. Curse Americans. she said, as he then replied to her other question. I like the second one better. With a sly grin on her face, she saw the license plate number on the car, and then located the upper left hand corner. Exactly what she thought, it was the same car. Can I pass on that question? Diamond looked at him, smiling a big smile. She wouldn't mind sharing, but she'd have to make it funny at first. At least.

He noticed her glancing at another car, but they started moving again before he could see what it was exactly, so he shook it off, though a small part of him wondered what had made her look.
He laughed and shook his head. "Naw, just to show you how big it is. Immensely, really." He said to her with a shrug. He saw her grin and allowed himself to smile, knowing that she was still in a good mood. It wouldn't be long till they got there. He heard her question and looked back to the dog behind them, sighing. "From what I'm hearing... It's sounding like a no. I'm serious though, if you want to just leave them at my house, they'll be taken care of." He promised her.
He laughed at her comment and nodded. "Curse them indeed." He then saw her sly grin and a side of his mouth curled up in a half smile. He then heard her question and shook his head. "Nope. No way. You have to answer." He said to her. "Haven't you ever played 20 Questions? Number one rule!" He chuckled.

Great, I'm going to be a lonely lady with a parrot or something. Not like I had any weird animals before. But thanks. I'm considering leaving Leyla to you, but Bo I think should go back home. To everyone that he grew up with. Diamond said to him. She knew that he would be fine, but she didn't know how fine. Josh would take care of her, and Blake would make sure all of his attention was taken care of.
Laughing at his acusion of her never playing 20 questions, she then stopped; smiling. She loved how they could joke around eachother, so much as well; and they woudl never get tired of it, ever.Ok, ok...um... Diamond tried to think of the worst thing she's ever done...Well, I did do that...but it was just that once.. she said trying to decide. Why not? It'd be fun to tell him, freak him out a bit; and then tell him the real truth later on. Well I slept with my guy best friend once. she said making herself sound dead serious.

He laughed with a sad smile as he heard her words, shaking his head. "He'll like that: seeing people that he already knows." He said to her with a nod. "Well, look, no pressure, just let me know before we head back on Sunday." He said to her, hands up in the way that he tended to do when he caught himself pushing someone to do something.
He heard her start to laugh and waited for her answer, expecting something along the lines of smoking or drinking... maybe even a run in with the law at some point. What he heard, however, was not something he was expecting. His eyebrows shot up in surprise, and he turned to look at her face, wondering if she was sh*tting him, but from what he could tell, she wasn't. "Really? Um... Like, you're serious?" He asked her again, still unable to grasp that confession. "Well, look at Little Miss Trouble over here." He said to her with a laugh, shaking his head, and running his right hand through his hair absentmindedly. Slept with her best guy friend... "So wait... Am I your best guy friend now?" He asked her, before quickly defending himself, "Just saying, I might as well be prepared for you coming onto me one of these days." He said to her with a chuckle.

Probaly will end up going with you; as the response from the Main Office states. I'l' let you know though. Diamond said as she got a response from the office. F*ck now what she going to do?
Texting her brother, she told him the situation and thought about not sending the message, but she did; not knowing whether he would want Bo or not.
Nah, I'm just f*cking you up. No, stop. she said to him laughing now. She couldn't imagine that; but now she thought of the reason of the question. She should really tell him the truth now. Me and five of my friends were coming home from a party. We'd been drinking, dancing. It was h*ll of a night. My friend looked at me and we got in an accident... Almost all of us were sent to the hospital; and then the next day we all just went out, sober. We were at a Six Flags and this guy pulled a gun on me and my two girlfriends. My "big brother" saved us, and took a shot. He's still in the hospital, doing tests and it all. I haven't seen any of them since. Last I heard Marquis is in Juvi. Diamond said to Cannon. Explaining it all.
They were all so important to her, and they meant a lot. For her to just have to let them go; that wasn't her gameplan. She wouldn't of been here probaly.

He nodded and noticed her look of uncertainty, knowing this was all happening pretty quickly, the school notifying them that they had just a month to find new homes for any animals larger than the cats. In his mind, it didn't seem fair, but then again, how many schools do you know of that let you keep animals?
He sighed in relief when he heard that she was joking, though he wasn't sure why. Maybe he just wasn't expecting such a thing from her, or maybe he was hoping it wasn't true. Either way, he was just relieved. Then he heard her real story and he became very quiet, not knowing how to respond to something like that. "I think that was probably one of those moments in life where you stop and think about the people you surround yourself with, and really appreciate them." He said to her softly, looking over to see what her face said. That was a very noble thing for her friend to do for she and her other friend, and he was glad she knew people that would do that for her. "I'm glad he did take that bullet, cause who knows if I'd have ever met you if he didn't." He said to her, looking back out the window. "You ever visit him?" He asked her after a few minutes of silence.

Diamond now dropped the animals situation, not wanting to ruin the drive with all her pet problems. Hearing the incoming sigh from Cannon, Dimaond looked at him with a wide grin. Happy are you? she asked him, chuckling a bit.
The car was in silence for a few moments, before Cannon decided to speak up first. Hearing his response, she noodded. No kidding, I really do miss my friends back home. Although it's not everyday you can fly into London. Dimaond said fake sighing. She didn't know how she could fit all of this story telling into one day. Yeah...he was a really good friend of mine. Nah, I never have seen him since then, which is why I'm here. Never got to visit him, got accepted to early I guess. she told Cannon.
The Mustang Lauch was now in front of them, and slammed on it's breaks. Slamming on her's as well, the truck lurched forwards and then backwards. Diamond braced herself for the damage to the truck and the Mustang; but nothing did ever hit. Thankfully. She didn't think they had touched the car, but now that the car wasn't moving she wasn't so sure. Backing up a bit and then looking forwards it appeared that nothing was damaged. She was just wondering why the driver wasn't moving. Honking once she awaited for the car to move....nothing happened.
Ok...this is one of those times I get mad. On the road thats never a good thing. she told Cannon, now placing her hand fully on the horn of the truck.

Cannon looked over to her with a small smile and shook his head, laughing silently. Yes, yes he was happy, though it was more relieved than happy.
When she responded he laughed lightly at her joke, nodding his head. "Maybe over break or something. It'd be good to go home once in a while." He said to her with a nod, knowing that, though it was hard, it wasn't impossible. He listened to her speak more and understood where she was coming from, and decided not to comment on it any further. She seemed to really miss her friends, and he knew that nothing he did or said was going to change that feeling. At least he knew that much when it came to girls; they were always stuck in that one emotion, and it took another huge one to change their mood or mind.
All of a sudden, before he could even realize what was happening, he was jerked forward as Diamond slammed on the breaks, obviously due to the car in front of them. "Sh*t." He cursed under his breath as he sat back up and looked over to Diamond to make sure she was alright, which she was, just a bit pissed. "Why the heck would he stop like that?" He asked more to just wonder out loud than to actually ask. He shook his head as she blared on the horn and the car still refused to move. What was this guy's problem?

Nodding her head at him further she smiled and let her elbow rest on the door, with her hoodie's sleeve she cover up her mouth and couldn't help but smile behind it.
Hearing the cursing from under Cannon's breath she laughed and shook her head. I don't know, but we aren't going to be sitting here for very long. she said looking around to make sure nothing was there to stop them; or for them to hit.
Turning the truck's wheels she turned into the side field that they had beside them, it wasn't as rough as she though it would be, but she wasn't going to sit there forever waiting for him. Crossing over through the field wasn't the best idea or the smartest but it got her over to where they needed to be. Faster too.
Now that they were back on the road, she asked him, Are we close? Diamond asked Cannon wanting to know when they would be there, or where she was driving actaully. She didn't really know they were just driving around on the blacktop. Leyla whined from the back seat, where her head stuck up on the console; begging for moving to the front.

His eyes stayed glued on the car as they drove off the road to pass him, not able to see what the driver looked like, which caused a sigh to escape from his mouth, and then he just forgot about it. He had some pretty bad road rage, but it was even worse when he couldn't put a face the the names he was calling the drivers in his head. He turned back in his seat to face forward again before looking back to her. He looked down the road to see where about they were and smiled. "Yes we are. Follow this road down to the end, about 3 more side streets down, and it'll be the driveway with the black gate." He said to her, slightly embarrassed. As they passed the large houses on either side of them, he just kept thinking, she's going to think we're insane... absolutely insane... He'd have to key in the code once they reached the gate, and then she'd be shocked once they reached the actual house. "I guess I have to warn you about something..." He said to her a bit quietly. He rubbed his thumb and pointer finger together in a nervous way, unsure of what she'd think about what he had to say... or how he had to say it. "I haven't lived here my whole life, but for most of it... When I moved here, I was still pretty young, but I'd spent enough time in my hometown to have picked up on the habits... So I've been hiding something from you..." He said to her quietly. "You'll hear it from my parents when we get there, but I grew up in South Africa, so I have an accent also..." He said in his real accent, which felt so natural to him still.
