Andie cruised her car to a halt in one of the parking spaces outside the main office. Looking into her rear-view mirror, she checked her lip gloss - and added another coat of berry flavoured liquid gloss just because she could - and then stepped out of the car. "Brr." She muttered as she pushed the door closed and locked the car before walking inside.
Although it had been three years ago when she had first walked through the same office door, she could remember it as though it were only yesterday. Back then, she had been a stranger to the place - completely livid when she found out horses were the main part of the school. Now, however, she knew the place well and was entering with a completely different set of rules.
"Hi Miss Harris." She greeted the young receptionist with a bright smile. She knew that she could greet the woman by her first name, but the formal greeting just slipped off her tongue. "I'm back to try my hand at coaching the cheer leaders." She shrugged. "I know that Sara will be doing a wonderful job, but I'll be there if she needs me. I also have an appointment with Ms Carr about working as a barn hand." Her smile didn't shift once as she spoke and she took the key for her apartment. "I'll be back if I need anything."
Leaving the office, she drove her car around to the Brown Ribbon apartment building and pulled into one of the parking spaces there. She then locked the car and headed up to her lodgings to put her things away before she headed over to White Oak to speak with the barn manager about where she would be working.
