Personality: Trigger is an energetic, curious horse. While most foxtrotters are generally calm and sweet, Trigger is not. Having something of a temper, he isn't fond of strangers being around him without Marney there, and he takes a long time warming up to any man. In fact, he tends to be extremely mean to men, especially those who are fully grown. However, he lives up to his sweet-natured name by being very easy and patient with children. Generally, however, he is ill tempered for all but Marney.
History: Trigger was originally born and raised in a small ranch that was prone to abusing its horses. Only men worked there, so perhaps that is why he is so nasty towards the sex. He was about five years old when the farm was sued for animal cruelty. Marney's stepfather bought him shortly after, but it was difficult to get him to do anything for them. It wasn't until Marney moved in that she helped show him how not everyone was bad. She nursed him back to a good health and began training him, in order to bring his strength back.
Discipline: training in Jumping and Cross Country, and does a lot of Trail Riding
