The teenager leaned back in the car. the thing about having money was the fact that other people drove you to where you wanted to be, and having the best horses around. It was just one of those things. Leaving Manhattan had been hard, but he knew that he was better off at the Academy. The only condolence was that his uncle was at the Academy. Max also hoped that there was some handsome male species around the school. And some cowboys. Cowboys were the best to torture, as they usually didn't like gays.

Max's horses' were being flown in the next few days, and he already missed them. The Academy soon drew into view, and he got ready to leave the vehicle. He drew on his Aviator sunglasses.He was wearing black skinny jeans, converse and a loose t-shirt. Max prided himself on his good looks, and he spent more time on his looks than anything else.

The car stopped, and Max stepped out into the heat of the day. Oh Lord, and I thought Manhattan was hot was the first thought that crossed his mind. The day had potential to go hotter, and Max quickly stepped into the air conditioned office. Seeing the counter, he went up to the secretary. Good Morning. I'm Max Carter. I'm a new student here he said, and he hoped he wouldn't have to say his full name to the secretary.

Betty sat behind the computer desk, typing as usual. Nothing exciting or interesting had happened that day, and she was beginning to think it never would. The sound of the door opening made her spirits chime up. There was a visitor, or a soon to be faculty or student arriving.

Looking up with soft eyes, a delighted smile crossed her face at seeing a handsome young man, "Welcome to Blue Ridge Academy," she beamed, "It's a pleasure to meet you Max, I'm Betty."

She once again started typing at the computer, then the printer fired up and spit a paper out at her. Betty grabbed it and eyed it over. She nodded her head once, causing her black curls to bounce back and forwards. She handed the paper out to Max, "This is your itenerary and schedule," she explained, "And your dorm room number is 101. Will you need any assistance with your luggage?"

Max smiled at Betty. It's a pleasure to meet you Betty. Thank you for these,and I'll be fine with the luggage thanks.Well, not him technically. The driver would be taking care of that.

I would also just like to know where my horses will be stabled. They will be shipped in tomorrow if all goes well, he added in his mind.
