Day 1
Well, just arrived at the academy. It's very nice, but I sort of miss Georgia. But, my beloved Bruno is here with me, as well as the man of my dreams. I can't wait to meet some new people and make some new friends. Toby says I'll fit in perfectly here.
I need to start decorating the new apartment. It looks rather plain at the moment, and I can't invite anyone in without it looking nice. I also need to take Bruno for a walk. I heard there is a track around here on campus that a lot of people use.
I will also get a chance to where my new outfit!

Day 3
Well, we have settled into the apartment nicely. I will have to get pictures up of the rooms. Don't tell anyone, but most of the stuff came from Hobby Lobby, where it looks expensive, but it's actually cheap.
I have met several people. First, is a student named Cara. I saw her riding. Her horse was bucking and rearing, but she stayed on. She is a brave girl! I also met the Santos family. They are very nice and have a cute puppy! Hopefully I can hang out with them soon.
I don't know why I'm showing these, but here are some pictures of the house.

Day 5
Oh my lords a leaping (it's Christmas month), guess what? I bought my own horse! I am so excited, he is perfect! Well, I haven't met him yet, but he is going to be dropped off at the barns for me. It's kind of upsetting though, becuase the only time he could be dropped off was when Toby is teaching in class. But he said he would make it over ASAP.
Toby hasn't seen him yet. I lost the picture of him I had... I must have dropped it. Anyway, he is a registered appaloosa, and his sire is a champion. Toby wasn't sure about the whole idea, but said that if it was what I wanted and am happy, it's all good. I can't wait. I did some research on the breed. They are supposed to be loyal, even-tempered, and trustworthy, which is what I would want in a horse. I can't wait till he gets here. I need to name him....
Oh! I just got a phone call, and the driver is on his way! I better get down to the barn!

Day 7
Well, you could say, I still haven't got my first horse, but I got something much better! Indy is a mule! He is super sweet and I can pet him and love him all day long. He is very quiet though, and doesn't really show much emotions, but Toby thinks that will change as time goes on.
That Cara girl is so quiet! I know the poor thing must have had a rough life, just by the way she acts. She is very stoic. I also met a girl who was a polo coach. I never heard of the sport for horses! Oh well.
I have overall enjoyed being at the academy. Toby was right, I am starting to fit in great here! I can't wait until I get to buy tack for Indy, and ride him in the arenas, then I make more friends. I feel sorry for Barbie though. I think Toby is going to take her back to Georgia, where she can be retired out to a pasture or something. They might breed her, unless he see's a stallion here he likes. It would be so fun to play with a baby! But, she is 10, and I don't know how old mares can get bred too. Anyway, I will write later!

Day 9
Christmas is just around the corner! I asked Toby what he wanted for Christmas, and he told me to surprise him, so he'll probably regret that when he opens up his present under the tree. I didn't know what to get him! I found this online and ordered it. He'll be surprised! But then, I wanted to get him something more serious, and I really liked this when I saw it.
I also went Christmas shopping for Bruno. He has been such a good dog this year! I found these and knew he would them. I also found this on sale, and had to get it! I shave him in the spring and summer as the poor guy gets so hot, and Toby always laughs at him, becuase his head, tail, and lower legs are all still poofy while his main body is naked.
Of course I can't forget Indy! I had to rush delivery him a present, otherwise it wouldn't have made it here on time! I know he will love it, and look so good in it as well. I looked at the tack store here, but due to the christmas rush, they didn't have a wide selection and I didn't see anything I liked. I saw this one, and it's perfect!
I also have the living room all nice and decorated for the holidays. It's kind of nice being just the two of us, though I wish some family could have came down to celebrate. The timer just went off on the cookies!

Day 15
Sorry! I have been so busy lately, I haven't had time to write. First, I had a wonderful Christmas and everyone enjoyed their gifts. Toby bought me this dazzleing necklace that I will wear as soon as possible, as well as a t-shirt for a joke that has a mule on it that says 'So I'm an ass, what's it to you?' Yeah, it's now my new night shirt, don't think I'll be wearing it around.
But on top of that, he also had a surprise arranged out, and I got to see my youngest sister Candice! It was so exciting, I never thought I'd get to see any of my family again. She has changed a lot since I last seen her, but she is still my sister. She only stayed for a week, but she got to ride a horse, with Cara's help, and have fun. She and Toby got a long well, which I was very glad for. We are going to stay in touch, and hopefully she will decide to come back sometime.
I also got to ride Indy for the first time. It was so exciting! He is such a good boy! I can't wait until we start showing, he is going to do so good. The halter I bought him really looks nice on him. I can't wait until I get to ride him in my show saddle and everything.
Oh, I met a nice girl named Aubrey, I think she is a few years younger than me, but she is very nice (and very tall!). I hope we can hang out again sometime. I also picked out a book from the library to read better. Toby really wants me to take classes here, but that is very embarrassing. Maybe I can talk him into something online, so that I can get my diploma without everyone knowing about it. We'll see.
