BREED: Clydesdale
EYES: Warm Chocolate
COLOR: Bay
MARKINGS: White blaze, four white socks.
HEIGHT: 18 HH
WEIGHT: 2100 pounds
PERSONALITY:
Thornton is a stroppy bugger. He doesn't like many people, and rarely even likes Mavis. He nips at many people and can be a general nuisance. He gets bored easily and then grows disruptive. He likes to try and escape because he dislikes being indoors for too long. He would rather spend his days out in the pasture during any weather.
He can sometimes be a gentle brute, if you catch him in a good mood, he will be a lovely thing. That is normally first thing in the morning. Once he's woken up properly, you have no chance.
He good with other horses, especially Wilma, Mavis's other horse, and can tolerate anything. He also adores Bartholomew, Mavis's cat.
He is a lovely ride, smooth and responds well. As soon as you sit in his saddle, he knows exactly how to behave. Mavis rarely uses him for more than English pleasure, but she does sometimes use him for cross-country.

FAMILY:
DAM: Tallies Revenge. 17 years. Clydesdale
SIRE: Tied to the skies. 19 years. Clydesdale
HISTORY:
As a youngster, he lived at the barn Mavis used to teach at. Once he turned two, Mavis bought him. She had fallen in love with him since the day he was born. Although they have never been really close, due to Thornton's dislike of humans, she does actually adore him and he will always hold a special place in her heart. She still could not understand his nature because both his dam and sire were sweethearts, and maybe that's what drew her to him more.
The pair have been together for ten years and they do ride well together. Mavis just keeps adding to the love she feels for her equine.
