Andie stood in the waiting area of her boarding gate at the airport, her bag slung over her shoulder, a small case on wheels held tightly in her right hand and her boarding pass in her left.
Only a few hours ago she had said good bye to Omega as the mare had been loaded onto a horse truck heading to her grandparents' place in Colorado and she was now waiting her for the boarding call.

She had spoken to Jack in length and asked the man if the mare could stay at their barn for a while and have someone working with her, seeing if she was made out to be an eventing horse, and if not she was sure that her grandparents and their staff would find someone who was suitable for the mare. Omega was so pretty though that she hoped the mare could be persuaded to change occupations.
At last it came, the call to board the small plane that would take her from Blue Ridge, Kentucky to Bailey, Colorado. She stepped forward with the other people waiting to board, handed over her boarding pass and stepped into the small aircraft...
