.Rosa Muñoz.
Full Name: Rosa María Muñoz Izquierdo de Gómez
Nick Names: Rosie
Student or Staff: Staff
House (if student): ---
Age: Twenty-seven
Ethnicity: Latino(a)
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Physical Description: When it comes to maintaining her blond hair, she isn't one of those girls who are like 'hair, hair, hair. Oh my god, hair.' No, she does let it get a little wild, but not to the point where it looks greasy and gross. But, she doesn't spend hours on her hair to make it look perfection. She's ok with the 'messy on purpose' or 'wind-blown' hairdos. But, she still knows when you have to look pulled together, and the hair does it all when presenting yourself, so it's not that she doesn't take pride in her hair, she just thinks one of those things aren't as important as your other appearance qualities.
As for the rest of her body, well, it's much like any other twenty-seven year old. She's got the curves. She's not scary-skinny. But, she is one of those girls that when she gets stressed, she does lose some weight. She does keep up with staying healthy and staying fit. She is very concerned in what she puts in her body, meaning food. Now, you might think that she would be borderline eating disorder, but no. She likes to watch what she eats, because she does want to stay healthy. Speaking of watching what she eats, she is a vegetarian. She hates killing animals for food, and she eats nothing with a face.
An odd thing to focus on but her voice. Her voice isn't like a lot of girls her age. She has a raspy tone to her voice when she talks. It's just one of those unique voices that would make you stop talking and listening it just has that sort of attention to it. Her eyes are naturally brown, but do sometimes come off as a amber/golden color, it just depends what day you catch her with one or the other, or even both mixed together. She has an average height of 5'3" and a weight of 105.
Personality: The first thing anyone will notice about Rosie is her excessively friendly demeanor. She could almost be compared to a Golden Retriever, never afraid to say hi or meet someone new. Rosie sort of has a way of instantly making you her best friend, giving her a rather large circle of friends, though only a few she regards as her close friends.
The girl can be quite the chatterbox once she does know you, or frankly, even if she doesn't. Which isn't to say she randomly accosts strangers, but she can hold a conversation with a cashier at the grocery store. Especially though when she's around her closer friends there can be times when it seems like she will never shut up. For all her conversing though it is, admittedly, rather trivial topics she discusses. She can be kind of funny in her own way though and can get a laugh out of most anyone with a decent sense of humor without even meaning to be particularly witty.
If you are important to her, whether you’re just a friend, or you’re family, she will do whatever she can to make sure that you are okay. Sometimes she can go a little too far. But not only is she protective over people that are important to her, she is also very protective of her stuff. Especially if it is valuable to her in some way. She doesn’t like it when people touch her items.
She is a very generally excited person. Certain moods and emotions tend to bubble over and spill out, even when it is not intended. She tends to wear her heart on her sleeve to people she cares about, and would give you the shirt off her back. She tends to trust a bit too easily for her own good, and has been working on picking the right ones to share that with.
Even when her bright skies turn dark, she still plants a smile on her face every day, and tries to see the bright side to the downers in life. A tough exterior to those who don't know her well, she can be stubborn, and hard headed. Hating to admit when she is wrong, and tends to rely on humor when she is, but not the type to point fingers when she is right. Never relying on the `I told you so` factor. In her mind, she has a goal, and a dream, and nothing except for possibly her family will deter her from working towards those dreams, even with that though, family comes before the dreams.
She is expressive to her emotions physically, to those who matter in her life, and she is not at all good at hiding her emotions to them (close friends and family), thought she would verbally deny it any day.
True to her words, she never cancels plans, stands people up, and is trustworthy. With being true to her words, she is true to herself, intentions, and her actions. Sometimes she tends to speak before thinking, losing the whole `tact` factor, and she could easily argue her way out of anything. Extremely intelligent, a whiz at problem solving, and often uses this ability to talk her way out of situations she finds causing her trouble, or something she doesn't want to do. Logic, at its finest.
History: Born and raised in San Cristóbal Ecatepec de Morelos, more commonly known as Ecatepec City, in the State of México, she had Spanish blood flowing freely through her veins. She was proud of her heritage, and she wasn't ever afraid to show it. During festivals, such as El Día de los Muertos, more commonly known as The Day of the Dead to those whom speak English, she pitched in with helping to build altars for the dead with marigolds, which is believed to be the flower of the dead, offered food and drink as thanks to God, sat vigil, sung, and prayed. She was one of the smarter females within her family, always willing to offer a witty rhetoric of one sort or another at any, given moment. During what she jokingly calls her "younger years," she was rather sought after. Then again, back in her "younger years," she had an ever-present smile, flowing dresses that were quite extravagant in their own right, and a few acts of kindness that she was always willing to perform. Alas, at the age of eighteen, her heart was for one, lucky man alone.
His name was Ramón Raúl Gómez González. Note, the was. After six months of dating, they were married. She thought she had her happily ever after at the time. Nine months later, at the tender age of nineteen, she gave birth to her firstborn son, Alejandro César Gómez Muñoz, while her husband stood near to her, waiting to introduce his son to the world. Like days of old, she stayed home and kept the family together while her husband was out, winning the "bread" for his family. Of course, like most people, she wanted to see more than just the same, four walls when she woke up each and every morning.
When she suggested traveling to her husband, after a year of being together, he merely laughed it off and called her crazy. With their son finally settling down, after another year had passed, they decided to have another child. It took several weeks for the conception but when her pregnancy was confirmed, they couldn't have been happier. Unfortunately for her, during the third trimester of her pregnancy, she was met face-to-face with loss. Her husband had died in a work-related accident. So on the day her second son, Esteban Felipe Gómez Muñoz, was born, she was around the age of twenty-two. Finally facing reality, she decided to move to the United States in the hopes she could escape her past.
None of her family members had qualms with it and if anything, they actually encouraged that she see beyond the city's borders, to finally spread her wings and fly or simply put, to finally live her life the way she wanted to live it. She did just that. She moved to Kentucky once the doctor cleared her for any form of travel, taking her two sons with her. This wasn't to say that she selfishly forgot about her late husband. She did, however, work toward a citizenship and go to college to become a horse trainer. She got her bachelor's degree at the age of twenty-six then with two years remaining before she gained her full citizenship, she decided to look for a job. She found a job that fit her degree and dove for it without a second thought a year later.
