Personality: Salt is a quiet mare though when she throws a strop everybody knows. Her tantrums are renown for being extremely loud and drawn out, and she doesn't hesitate to show that she's in a bad mood. Other than that, she's pretty good. She can be quite pushy and impatient when getting groomed or tacked up, but usually listens when Beth scolds her for doing so.

To ride, she's an absolute speed demon. She just wants to go, constantly, which makes her a wonderful barrel horse. Beth adores this about her, as Salt also just wants to please when she's being ridden and it cancels out her more undesirable habits.

History: There isn't very much known about Salt's history other than Beth's step father bought her for Beth five months ago and they've worked together ever since. She's got no dislike for humans or other animals, and shows no sign of being mistreated and is very healthy. There's no reason for Beth to believe that she came from a bad home.
