Dear Mom and Dad,

Please don't worry, I'm alright. I arrived at BR safely, with no delays. Nunya is fine, we haven't had any incidents yet. I've already told most of my teachers about why she is with me, and they have been fine with it... Little choice they have, I know, but still. Balian arrived safely as well, Tom is on his way back home with the trailer. Please be sure to thank him from me again when he gets back, I know it was a long journey.

Anyway, my classes are fun, at least the ones I have had up to now. I can now find my way around campus mostly without getting lost, thanks to a few days of wandering about with a map.

Well, I have to run now, but I'll be sure to write again later.

Hey Mom and Dad,

I know it's been forever since I've written, but I've been busy. Lots of things have happened, but I'll tell you about some of them.

I got a roommate! Her name is Charlie, she's a really nice girl. She has a dog named Bear, a black lab, and he gets along well with Nunya. She and I are planning on going for a trail ride some weekend, since Balian and her horse, Midnight, are alright with being ridden with each other.

My new classes are great! I love Natural Horsemanship and Remedies, they are taught by the same teacher. Balian's being an idiot with the rope we were using, but I'm working on it, and I think he's getting better.

I met a girl in one of my classes, her name is Grae. She's letting me borrow one of her horses to rein on, since Balian's more of a barrel horse. He's a really nice bay QH, and he's good at reining, probably better than I am!

Me again,

I know, I don't write. I'm fine, though, don't worry about me. I bought a new horse, like I said, a pretty gelding called Rolo. He came with a bunch of tack, because he was used for a lot of work, so that's a bonus. He's good with reining, which I'm glad about.

Charlie had to leave Blue Ridge for some reason, I don't know exactly why. I have a new roommate now, though. Her name is Sakura. She has a dog too, but I'm being careful, don't worry.
