Physical Description: Gavin has strawberry-blonde hair that goes down to mid-forehead and sweeps to the right. His face is square yet soft, with impish eyes and eyebrows that are often cocked in amusement. He has impossibly blue eyes and thick lashes. His nose and cheeks are dusted with freckles.
Gavin is tall and not particularly muscular-- strong in a lean way. He stands 6'3 and weighs 160 pounds. His general build is light, but he's got power beneath it. He is often in button-up shirts and jeans.
Personality: Gavin knows he's good looking but he isn't a player and wouldn't ever take advantage of a girl. He's pretty sweet, friendly, and laid back. He doesn't go out of his way to make friends, though, and if you don't like him then he isn't about to change.
Gavin can be pretty stubborn. He has a hard time admitting he's done something wrong. Sometimes he is too relaxed about things and it makes it seem like he doesn't care. When he gets angry, he grows very quiet and doesn't say what's bugging him.
History: Gavin came from a small ranch town in the west. He's one of the only people in his family to go past high school education. He's worked on his family's ranch since before he could crawl and went on his first cattle drive when he was twelve. He doesn't like roping for sport, and his forté is reining.
Gavin's parents are very supportive of him coming to Blue Ridge Academy, although they miss him very much. The whole family worked very hard to get the tuition for the academy and Gavin knows he's going to have to work real hard to stay. He plans on finding a job as soon as possible.
The ranch back home is struggling to stay out of debt, and Gavin knows that if he can succeed at B.R.A. he can help his family. He will send some of the money he earns back to his family. Gavin has dreamed of coming here for years and hopes to be one of the best riders at the Academy.
