Martin had a sense of when he was late, and now he knew he was late. It was something that made him annoyed with himself, especially because he hated that he was starting to develop some sort of reputation for being tardy. Leading Knight from the barns, he headed towards the field where the NH class was being held. The grey gelding trotted next him, his audits pricked and eyes bright. The gelding was one that he loved dearly in the short time that they had been together. Usually he would use Nala for the class, but the mare was being a complete grump and would cause a few disruptions no doubt if Martin had used her.
Sorry I'm late, he apologised to Ms. Chevalier and found a spot as usual. Joker nudged his shoulder and caused him to stumble. With a flick of the lead rope, he got Joker to back up slightly. OOC: Just jumping in =]

Sara followed the teacher’s gaze to where Bethany and Morgan were, realizing that they were the reason for the next lesson, but understanding that it was a lesson that needed to be taken. She listened to what the teacher was saying, nodding. She knew Balian came into her space every once in a while. Rolo was much more polite, always staying away. Rolo was always more polite, which was why she had brought the grey gelding to horsemanship instead.
At Ms. Chevalier’s instruction, she spread out her arms, turning as she found her bubble. Balian had moved outside of it in search of greener grass, but a minute before, he would have been inside the space. She stood and listened to the teacher again, nodding as it made sense in her head. She grinned at the ‘your life might depend on it’ bit, because it was certainly true. She looked at Balian, who had moved closer again. He had raised his head and started stepping towards her, as if he had been listening. Thoughtfully, and slowly, she moved her arms until she had just brushed him across the nose. He stepped back, his ears pricked. Sara smiled and nodded, stretching out a hand to pet him, “Good boy.”

Nina nodded at each of Ms. Chevalier’s information and instructions. Ratio is always kind to Nina, but sometimes she gets into her bubble space. Hope, always does, she's not as polite as Ratio. She followed the instructors gaze to the gate. A boy came in with his horse and she smiled at him. She then turned back to Ms. Chevalier. She understand all her sayings and then started the activity.
She outstretched her arms and imagined a bubble around her. Ratio stopped grazing to look over at Nina. The mare's ears pricked forward and she started to slowly trotted over. Nina looked over at Ratio and the mare looked back at her. Ratio then walked a step closer, stepping into her bubble. Instead of Nina moving her feet, like the teacher said not too. She nudged Ratio away, and the mare trotted a couple inches away. She smiled and then said to Ratio. "Good girl." The mare trotted closer but not in her bubble space this time. She outstretched her arm farther and petted the white Arabian's muzzle.

Why were all the classes so hard to find? Enna's last school hadn't been nearly as large as Blue Ridge, and they had even given her someone to show her around the first day. Though she had already visited Blue Ridge, two weeks before classes started, but she had been too busy ogling the barn to pay attention to anything else. Of course, it didn't help that she had spent twenty minutes grooming her pig of a pony before even leaving the barn. Usually she wouldn't mind, since they weren't going to be riding, but she didn't want their first impression of her to be that she had a dirty pony.
Bailey was happy enough to jog along beside her as they searched, and when they finally heard voices the Connemara nickered eagerly. The pair arrived just in time to hear the instructor explain the exercise to another student who, thank God, also seemed to be late. Enna led Bailey up to the instructor as she left the other student. "Enna Moore and Bailey. Sorry we're late, I heard what you were saying to him though..." She nodded at the other student. This would difficult for her, not because Bailey liked to invade her space but because he was already more interested in the rest of the class.

Ana smiled at Martin's apology as he hurried over to his normal spot and looked like he was ready for action. She followed him over and offered her hand to Joker. "No Nala today?" She inquired. "Right now everyone is protecting their personal space." She then continued on with explaining the lesson.. "Block their entry by defending the wall of your bubble..."
Lowering her head to him as walked back toward Goldie only to be halted in her tracks by another tardy student. Sure, she was pretty casual with her students, but this was the third student to turn up late. She turned toward the owner of the voice, but bit her tongue as she didn't recognise the child. She offered the gelding her hand before she spoke to Enna. "I am glad I don't need to explain the lesson again, then." She said. "It looks like you are going to also need to work on keeping his attention on you. A horse who's attention wanders is a danger to both his handler and himself." She would wait for Enna to get herself and her pony settled into the activity before she moved the lesson on.
She looked over as she heard a horse groan and shook her head as Goldie lowered himself onto the ground and had a roll.
