History: Surprisingly, Kahl and Sandy have actually had a long history together. A friend of Sandy's grandmother owned and raised Kahl, but do to her age, could not ride a green horse. Sandy happily took the job as Kahl's 'exercise rider' and became very attatched to the spunky mare. A few months before Sandy left for the Academy, her grandmother bought Kahl so Sandy could finally have her own horse.
