Personality>> To most people Samantha although sweet, comes across as something of a wallflower. She is naturally awkward and prefers to fade into the background rather than draw attention to herself.
Having grown up without a father, Samantha craves the attention of older men, which has led to some bad decisions in the past. She finds it very hard to cope with failure or rejection, and although she won’t admit it to anyone, this is the reason why she dropped out of high school.
She likes to throw herself into her work to avoid having to deal with what her mother calls ‘real life’. The thought of having to one day make it on her own terrifies Samantha, and lately, she finds herself wishing more and more that she could someone freeze time and have it stay like it is forever.

Appearance>> Samantha is pretty, with her light grey eyes and long blond hair. She has her mother’s buttermilk complexion, with only a smattering of freckles over the bridge of her nose. However, there is a sullen edge to her expression that makes Samantha look older than she is, and she rarely if ever smiles.
Samantha is slim, with the well-sculpted body of a runner. Because of her long legs, she seems taller than she is, and people are often surprised to find out she’s only 5’7”.
Since most of her pay goes towards gas and food, Samantha wears whatever she pulls off a rack at the local Target and Walmart. However, her usual dress code consists of a plain tee-shirt, baseball cap and jeans.

But I’ve gotta let it go
Medical History>> She broke her wrist once falling off her bike and badly sprained her ankle during a school trip.

Full History>> Samantha was born into a blue-collar family in a small town in Nebraska. Her father left on the evening of her first Christmas and she never saw or heard from him again. Her mother worked hard at the local bar to put a roof over their heads, and in the summer break, Samantha would spend her time helping out on nearby farms to help pay bills.
Samantha had always hated the constant pressure of school, and after barely scraping through her freshman year, she dropped out as a sophomore and got a job working for a surly old neighbour. The man was like a grandfather to the fatherless Samantha and she blossomed under his gruff attention.
She was only 19 when he died of liver cancer, and even though she knew it had been coming, Samantha was still shell-shocked by his death. She drifted along in a daze for the next few months until her mother decided a change of scenery was for the best. She had a sister who lived in Kentucky and Samantha was sent to live there, halfway across the country.
Her aunt was made of sterner stuff than her sister, and so after a couple of weeks of temper tantrums and door slamming, Samantha found she had a new job as a barn-hand at the academy in the town over. It was a big change, but Samantha is hoping it will put her on track to better things.
