Personality>> Zhen isn't your average teen-aged girl when it comes to her personality. She's very serious and calculating, never allowing herself to just let her hair down and just enjoy her teen years while they last.
She has a bad habit of taking on more responsibility than someone her age should be able to handle alone. But when when the stress starts to pile on she manages to stay calm and collected, eventually finding some way to balance it all on her shoulders while still being able to keep a grip on her sanity.
She has a horrible prideful streak and will repeat something she's trying to learn until she gets it right every time after and hates having to stop and ask others for help, even when she's reached the point of being desperate for a hand or a shoulder to lean on. It makes her feel weak and incapable of taking care of herself, something that makes her skin crawl to feel. She dedicates herself to her studies and work, putting her entire self into everything she does and has no time for 'stupid' things like parties, dating and hanging out with people her own age.
However, Zhen's not completely numb.
Deep down inside her she's still just a teenage girl and delicate under her hard shell. She takes criticism and people's words to heart and it hurts her when her efforts aren't noticed. Though she'd never admit it.
Likes>> Kendo, snakes, jumping, skateboarding, pottery and paper art, classical and indie music, her father's praise, being able to nail something the first try, ginger-snaps, nature and history programs, reading, privacy, world history.
Dislikes>> Fish, her eldest foster brother, failing at anything, being told that she can't achieve something, rap music (mostly because she can't understand it), Asian stereotyping, most older males, dating.
Fears>>Disappointing her parents; She doesn't know what she would have done without them and she wants to make them proud.

Hopes>> Zhen wants to prove to her family that she's fully capable of taking care of their household, even if she is a girl and the youngest child in the family. She also wants to start an Equine centered academy much like BRRA in Japan.

Appearance>> Zhen is a slender and willowy girl with an oval shaped face and a pale, almost chalky skin tone. She has thin hips with long legs and a flat chest that make her look far more delicate than she actually is. Her eyes are almond shaped and the color of her irises is a deep gray rimmed with black. She had soft, shiny straight jet-black hair that she lets grown just past her shoulder blades with bangs that part to the right side of her head.
Zhen's a shap dresser, always making sure she looks neat and trim at all times. She always dresses in long sleeves no matter what the weather is, even during the summer months and usually pairs them with pull over sweaters, stockings and skirts when she's not riding (breeches otherwise). She also loves suits. It's a quirk of hers but she loves the way they make her feel.
She also likes to wear tunics with leggings and mary jane shoes when she's alone.
Markings>> She had scaring on her wrists as well as one on the left side of her forehead. She's also tattooed, but she never puts them on display.

Medical History>>She spent a month in the hospital before her family brought her home and had suffered a couple broken ribs, a fractured wrist and has had stitches and a concussion after an accident where she fell from her horse and hit her head.[/size][/color]

Full History>> Zhen was born in Shanghai China and lived there in foster care until she was almost eight-years-old. Thanks to some shady circumstances, illegal activity and a not so bright coyote (human trafficker, yes they exist and human trafficking is far more common than you think) she ended up in Kyoto Japan after a very long boat and train ride in a cargo container holding several other girls ranging from ages twelve to twenty-five. All holding onto the promise that they'd be able to find jobs and make a living once they reached their destination.
A few weeks later after living in some horrible conditions she was taken home by Daichi Nakamaru (lets just pretend he had nothing to do with the illegal activities in the first place) and eventually adopted into his very traditional family.
Her foster mother and four of her five elder brother's accepted her into their home without so much as batting an eye. She was cared for, given a proper education, clothed, fed and over time attached herself to her father, bonding with him very closely and eventually becoming his pride and joy. Her dad dotes on her and if very protective. If she had been a spoiled brat all she would have to do is whimper for whatever she may want, and she would most likely have it handed to her without question.
She's totally devoted to him and taking care of her home, planning to outshine her siblings in order to get at the top of the pecking order and eventually take her dad's place and his business. No matter what it may take to do that.
She became involved with horses shortly after coming into the family. Her parents were both fond of horse racing and equestrian eventing. Especially her mother, who had spent her teen years in America in an exchange program and owned a few thoroughbreds of her own that she boarded at the family's winter home in the country. Zhen's mother taught her the basics of English riding, but when Zhen started to show natural talent for it and began to out grow what her mother could teach her the two did some research, and after a couple months they managed to sweet talked Daichi into allowing her to apply for BRRA where she would be able to continue her education while still broadening and improving her gift and favorite hobby.
She's come to the states with her eldest brother under the condition that if she allows her grades to fall or gets into any kind of trouble, that she'll be taken straight home.
