The Personality
Personality: Kettle is a very, very pushy mare. She needs to get her own way, or else she will fight you every step of the way. She has a very pushy personality out in the pastures as well, and should be watched when turned out with other horses.
Caution Around: Is very dominant and must not be left unattended with other horses.

The History
Basic History: Kettle was raised in a small house out in the country that had one other horse, a very submissive, old mare. Her owners were a doting elderly couple that used her just for trail rides, and in the summer, their granddaughter taught her the basics of dressage. Now the old lady passed away, and she is being sold on.

Discipline: Pleasure, basic Dressage, could go further.

History and Temperament: This little girl was rescued from a case of neglect. She was purchased as a foal as nothing more than a lawn mower and has been treated like one. She has over-grown hooves, worms and a severe case of rain rot. Because of her limited interaction with humans, she has yet to see them as anything other than predators, and it will take some time to break through the wall she had built up around herself. From the half-healed scars on her back it is evident that she has been beaten in the past.
Reason I needed to say good bye: Even though Risk was a lovely pony once she battled her demons, I decided that life at a busy Academy was not the life that Risk needed. I found her a permanent home with a lovely elderly couple who have four grand daughters who dote over the mare.
