The Personality
Personality: Tana is a mare, yeah that does explain a lot. You need spurs to ride this mare, just because if you don’t you’re not only going to look like kicking the crap out of her, but your legs will be tired from kicking so much. It isn’t that Tana is lazy by any means, she’s just a little ignorant. Not well socialized with other horses Tana doesn’t get out of her stall as much as she should, leaving her full of spunk and with a bit of sass. She doesn’t really buck, but can get a bit hoppy when she’s bored, done working or just plan feels like it.
Caution Around: Other horses, Tana is not well socialized and isn’t good with other horses. You do not want to muck this mare’s stall with her in it, she will cow kick you just because you’re in her house.
The History
Basic History: Tana is a born and raised reining horse. Broke as a two year old at a well-known reining stable she’s done nothing but train and show since then. Throughout the years Tana showed many different reining shows, including a few NHRA shows that owned her a few thousand dollars in money earnings. Since Ty’s older horse was nowhere near the standards of the bay mare, probably more of an open show horse, Ty was bought Tana to bring here to the academy and get a better chance at becoming a real name in riding.
