Shine a light through an open door
Full Name>>Sarah Elizabeth Greefield
Nicknames>>None; She goes by “Sarah”
Age>> October 28, 1988; 24
Staff or Student>> Staff; Show Jumping Teacher
House>> Brown Ribbon Appartment
Gender>> Female
Sexuality>> Heterosexual
Face Claim>>
Turn away 'cause I need you more
Personality>>] Sarah is a competitive, but fun loving person who dedicates her entire life to riding. Because she has been showing on the A circuit for such a long time, she has developed that certain "grace under pressure" persona that comes along with most polished riders. While inside the ring Sarah is all business and refuses to tolerate anyone who goofs off in the "work place". Although she doesn't recognize it, Sarah has a tendency to be a bit snobbish to those who are not as accomplished as her as well as those who do not have the experience that she does.
Outside of the ring she is friendly and open to most everyone. She has a quick sense of humor and an easy going way that helps her get along with almost all of her students.
Likes>> showing, a healthy rivalry between students/riders, hard workers, talented riders, expensive/fancy horses (no matter the breed usually), hunters, jumpers, jumping, equitation
Dislikes>> Bad equitation, riders who have talent but refuse to try, unkempt horses (untrimmed, long manes, dirty tack etc), falling off, losing
Fears>> That she will fail as an instructor and that her family will be disappointed if this happens.
Hopes>> To succeed as an instructor at BRRA and that her riding career will lead her to great things.
Secrets>> She secretly likes to watch others fail, just so that her mind can confirm that she really is a better rider then most of the nation.
It’s the way I’m feeling I just can’t deny
Appearance>> Light skin with dark, straight hair that is almost always in a sleek pony tail when it is not tucked under her hat.. Usually she wears minimal make-up and is almost always seen in a crisp polo and Tailored Sportsman breeches. Sarah is skinny all around and 5’6” with toned muscles in all of the right riding places. Sarah is pretty comfortable in her body, but dislike her nose which is slightly large and disproportionate when compared to the rest of her face. The bridge of this nose has a smattering of very lightly colored freckles, which are barely noticeable unless closely inspected. High cheek bones and pointed chin pair together to give her a simple beauty that she rarely recognizes as a result of being so busy at the barn. Her dark brown eyes are light and playful while holding a stern look to them. They are framed by long, fanned out lashes that are easily her best trait. Broad shoulders and long legs give her the perfect type for riding.
Markings>> Both ears pierced once on the lobe.
But I’ve gotta let it go
Medical History>> Sarah had a terrible fall while competing at WEF in 2001. Her former equitation horse spooked at a flower box before jumping and tossed her over its neck and into the oxer where she broke her collar bone and arm simultaneously.
Criminal History>> N/A
Full History>> Sarah was born into a loving, typical middle-class family where her horse-loving mom began her riding career at the ripe age of 3 years old. It was at this time that Sarah began local lead line classes and under the instruction of her mother gradually expanded her knowledge as a hunter rider. When she was old enough, her mother purchased a small pony to show in the Regulars and thus, Sarah’s career was born. As she grew older, Sarah moved along the pony sizes showing at various local shows where she won her fair share of ribbons. After growing out of ponies, Sarah purchased her first Children's Hunter and began showing at the more prestigious USEF shows. Soon Sarah was moving onto the "big eq" classes and showing catch rides for some of the largest trainers in the USA. It was not long before she had acquired a nice collection of willing sponsors who supported her as she moved up in the point systems. She showed at the McClay Medal Finals a total of 4 times and on her last time placed 2nd. This was the grand finish to a wonderful junior career. After turning 19, Sarah began to show jumpers on a regular basis and eventually found she applying for a job at BRRA.
