“Snow… Snow!”
At first she thought it was just her mother calling out the snow that was falling from the sky, something that many people did, despite the fact that Snow, the girl, was either close to them or in the vicinity of that person. So, merely, the girl pushed the thought away, waving her hand dismissively as she leaned her head against the window, shivering slightly as her cheek touched the chilly window of the car. But little did Snow know, her mother was actually calling her name.
Again her mother shouted her name, this time a little sterner, making Snow scrunch her face up before she opened her eyes, shooting up from her half laying down position. “What?” She said, albeit a little loudly, instantly regretting her action. A box of tissues was sent her way, sailing to the back seat before smacking Snow in the face, making the girl groan as she rubbed her forehead. “Hey!” The two women proceeded to argue back and forth, her mother going on about how her daughter should know some manners, especially with going to a prestigious boarding school like she was now, and Snow saying that she didn’t mean to sound rude and that she did have manners. Luckily, Snow’s father intervened before things escalated too high, announcing that they had arrived at their destination.
Finally! Snow thought. Finally, after nine hours of being in a car, they had finally arrived at BRRA! She sat up straighter in her seat, grinning stupidly as she looked around at the sights in front of her. All the housing units, the barns… Everything there seemed so strange, yet endearing. This place was even more beautiful then she could have imagined, and much more beautiful than the brochure had described. Now she was happy she decided to leave home and come here. Hopefully her experience here would be just as beautiful as this place looked.
The car was parked in front of the Main Office, and as soon as the car was stopped, Snow unbuckled her seat belt and hopped out of the car. “Don’t get out,” she told her parents before shutting the door. “I’ll get all the information I need. No need for you two getting out. Just wait there.” Quickly, the excited girl headed into the building, turning around in a circle as her eyes glanced over everything, a gasp escaping from her mouth. Now this was what she was talking about!
“Um, hi there,” Snow said as she made it over to the counter, leaning against it lightly. “I’m Snow Damon, a new student here. I was told to come here so that I can get the information I need.” She smiled, wondering which house she would be staying in and if she would have a roommate, and what her schedule would be like. She also wondered if Skippy had arrived yet, hopefully so; she had a feeling that it might take a little for him to adjust being to a new place, so she wanted him to get acclimated to his new stall, as well as this place, as soon as possible.
