he weather was chilly as she pulled the sweatpants on over her gym shorts and slipped her feet in the green sandles. She took a deep breath as she opened her door and walked away. She had everything she needed for right now in her small black bag as she walked toward the gym. Red hair pulled up into a bun ontop of her head which was covered by the green hood. It was a cold afternoon and all of her classes were over and she knew that the gymnastics would already be done working so she knew this was the time to get in the gym. Ellie climbed the stairs of to the gym and opened the large doors and walked through the poorly light hallway. A smile creeped across her face as she saw many signs and flyers about anything sporty. Ellie loved sports and ofcourse she was happy that she was back to Blue Ridge. She couldn't believe it herself, but she actual missed the gymnast coach. She could never remember her name, but since she been gone she kept her weight down and worked on everything at her local gym so when she did get back she might be able to get some praise. A smile crossed her face as she opened the big door and saw the lights off and sighed. Atleas no one will be watching, she chuckled at herself and switched the lights on that was by the door. She took off her sweats and slipped her feet out of her sandles and walked onto the raised floor. Ellie couldn't help but to bounce a couple times on the floor and move her arms to her side. She wanted to so bad take a running start and do a back hand spring. Yes, she wasn't the greatest, but she worked hard. Ellie sat on the floor and began to streach her body and making sure it was warmed up. Ellie walked to the beam and smiled as she ran her hand across the beam and knew that she rocked the beam now. After working on it at her own pace she had come along way. She grinned as she walked away from the beam and then took a running start with the board beside the beam and bounced on the board with streight legs she kicked them out and then landed on the beam. She moved around the beam doing several cartwheels, flips, back-flips, and splits. She stood at one end of the beam ready for the dismount and with streight legs took off as her feet lifted off the beam and did a round-off off the beam and laneded on the matt. A smile spread across her face as she stood there adn breathed slowly.Ellie danced in a circle and padded the beam once and started over again with a different mount.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size] ( w i s h , i , c o u l d , r e c k l e s s l y , l o v e )LIKE I'M LONGING TOWORDS :: 600 TAGGED :: Any Gymnastics NOTES :: OutfitMUSE :: I gots it here! Coach Hoefflin left the office with his ever-present clipboard under his arm. He had just faxed through the finalised list for the next gymnastics meet, though he wasn't sure about his team. The girl were admittedly good in the gym, he was just worried that maybe he had begun to push them a little too hard to be thin. The age-old adage "you have to be thin to win", was at times a little too present in gymnastics. He would never tell his girls, but he was the one who had spoken to the nutrition teacher about having the girls in her class. Sure, he wanted then thin, but he also needed them healthy - and need was always president over want.
The young coach frowned when he saw the lights were on in the studio, as he was sure that he had turned them off. However, he also knew how much work-ethic the girls had so he wouldn't be too surprised to find one of them in there now.
Walking into the gym, he was in time to see the young gymnast working in there dismount from a beam routine. "Ah, so you decided to return." He stated when he recognised Ellie. "How's your father?" He knew why she had vanished without a word, and could be forgiven as long as she had continued working out

llie didn't hear the door open nor slam either as she worked on the beam.Ellie leaped into the air moving her legs changing positions while in the air, demonstrating two splits in one jump. She balance on one foot with the other leg lifted high, preferably showing a 180-degree split, to the back. Her hands gripped her ankle as she stood there. She hadn't noticed anything different as she focused on her next move. Ellie brought her leg back down. She did the Miller consisting of a back dive with a quarter twist to a handstand, followed by a half pirouette. She did a couple moves before she did a dismount. Ellie walked back to the front of the beam and hopped onto and got in the splint postion and that was when she heard Coach Hoeffin speak. Brown eyes followed the voice as she saw him standing there off the mats, but still watching her. She took a deap breath and got out the postion nad sat on the beam and looked at him. Yes sir, I sure did miss it a lot. She said with a grinn and watched him until he asked about her father. He's alive, just moving around slowly. He had a stoke while I was there, but he's okay now. She said looking at him and kind of smiled toward him. I've been practicing a lot while I was gone. She said looking at him. Ellie grinned at him hoping that he would say something about her practice was paying off now. She looked toward him with the grinn on her face and watched him. I've been keeping weight down aswell. She said looking at him and ran her hands across the beam. Ant rolled his eyes as she called him Sir, it was annoying enough when Cara did it. but two of them could get irritating. "I'm pleased for you that he's on the mend." He replied. "We missed you at the last couple of meets, and you'll be sitting the next one out as well since I just sent the details off." It annoyed him though, as Ellie was strong on the vault and he could do with. He nodded when she said she had been practising. "It shows." He replied, without a hint of encouragement in his voice. His raised an eyebrow at the weight comment and it reminded him that he needed to weigh the girl's that evening, but he didn't mention this to the girl already in the studio as he didn't want to have her vanish into the changing room. He strode into his office and grabbed the girl's team uniform - it was the day that he had announced the team that the girl had had to go home. "This is yours." He said as he walked out and lay the uniform; leotard, tracksuit and bag on the bench nearest to the beam. "Once you have finished on the beam, go and change into the leotard."

Ellie couldn't help but grin when he rolled his eyes when she said "sir", but she couldn't help it. Hoefflin was a good coach and she liked him a lot just because he was hard on her and the rest of the team to push to be great. Most of the time they didn't even need to be pushed they just knew they needed to pick up the pace. She looked across over to him as he kept on talk to her. Thanks, just glad he is alive to be honest. She said with a frown.Yes she was more than overjoyed that he was alive, but then she had to be shipped off again back over here and never so sure if her father was going to be okay. She never left his side in the hopsital and was always there when he needed something. So it was strange to leave him when she gave up her thanksgiving break to come see her father.
Ellie grinned when he talked about the meets and then knew she had missed acouple.I understand, also I understand that I might not get to compete as I havn't been here to practice with the rest of the team and been to any meets. She said as she looked at him. She didn't want anything special and knew that he wouldn't just let her onto the team just like that, but at the sametime she wished she could. She knew the whole thing called "first come first served", but that still didn't beat wanting to be on the team.
Ellie almost want to hug him when he said that all her pratice had been paying. Yah, it wasn't very convecing, but being around him a lot people just figure out that he doesn't have much encourgment in his voice and when he said something you either take it as a complement or just walk away. Thanks, Coach Hoefflin. She grinned when he left to go into his office. She got off the beam and walked over to the bench and smiled at the red leotard and the track suite.I don't think red is my color, I think green matches me,she chuckled alittle and picked up the leo and held it into her hands and looked up at him. She grabebd the bag and stuffed the track suite into the bag and looked across to the other bench that had her things in it.Why wait? She went and grab her other bag and headed to the locker room, but she stopped and turned around. Thanks Coach Hoefflin was all she said as she opened the locker room to go change.

Antione shrugged. "You just can't be in the next meet, because I've just faxed through all the info about the attending gymnasts and reserves. I will still give you an excuse for missing classes that day so you can still come with us."
He nodded at her thanks and shrugged at her comment about the colour. "You can wear a green leotard if you want. However, you want to compete as part of the team, you wear the one you're holding. You might find that with your hair up in a bun, and moving around the apparatus, no one will notice if your hair clashes with your uniform or not."
He nodded as she thanked him again. "You may not believe it, McCoy, but you deserve to be a Blue Ridge Firebird. None of the other girls have the strength in vault that you have." Well, he knew Cara did, but that was beside the point.
While she went to the locker room, the coach strode off to his office once more to look at what his girls really needed to work on before their meet the following week. As he sat at the computer desk, he wondered if any of the others would turn up for a pre-training session.
