Full History>>Eloise Maylee McCoy was born in Texas on a huge ranch in South Texas. Ellie is the youngest of six kids. She has five older brothers that have taught her everything she has ever know about being a ranchers son, but not a daughter. Ellie's mother passed away when was only eight years old, but never did anything stupid like her oldest brother did. Ellie worked on the ranch just like the rest of the family, but after only a year her father decide to move to Oklahoma. He couldn't take working and living in Texas as it reminded him of his past wife. Ellie didn't want to move away from the only place she knew, but didn't have anyother place to go so she followed the family to Oklahoma where they worked on another Ranch. It seemed like the moved all the time to Ellie, but as long as she was with her brothers it didn't matter to her.
Then one summer when Ellie was fourteen her father came home with a women that Ellie had no idea who it was. This was going to be their "new mother", but really most of the boys where gone and she was the only one left at home. The "new mother" was harsh and kept Ellie at the house to learn how to be a "young lady", but really Ellie didn't really care all she wanted to do was be out on the ranch with her father and her brothers. On her birthday, her "new mother" had told her that she was leaving for the Kentucky to get a better "education" and to get away from this stinking ranch. Ellie tried to fight it, but her father never stopped her from getting on the airplane and being shipped away from the only home she knew.Now she is stuck at this boarding school not knowing anyone, but her father told her to work hard as she could and maybe she could home soon.
