I suppose that I should have been updating this more, after each session, but better late than never, I suppose. Dolly is doing very well, or much better than she was when I first met her. I'm currently able to groom and lead her easily, with both of us comfortable. I continue to do so rather often, as I figure that the more I do it, the more comfortable she'll be. She doesn't really like when I use the curry comb, and I suspect it's because she's still pretty skinny. I mean, she's definitely gained a lot of weight, and looks so much better, but she is still pretty ribby and I suspect that the curry comb may irritate her. I've heard and found that thoroughbreds have "thin skin" and are easily irritated, so I've taken to using a hard brush in its place. Hopefully she'll get to the point where it doesn't irritate her as much if she gains more weight, but I'm glad that I've seemed to have found the reason.

As far as leading goes, she does well, and isn't freaked out by it at all, except she does pull a little bit. I expect that I'll be working with her more on that soon, as it's one of the improvements that I'd like to make in the short term. All in all, I'm quite thrilled with how she is progressing, and I loved spending time with her.
