Hearing Brownyn's plan, Wess thought to himself. He knew that he was smart enough to find the trail on his own; so he nodded in reply, before adding onto just the nod.
Yeah, sounds good. I'll get Knight all tacked up and ready to go; then I can hopefully figure out where I'm going. Wess said to her with a grin on his face. Taking the lead rope from the stall, Knight immediatley hit his head against Westin's shoulder.
Smiling and touching the horse's muzzle, feeling the short and soft hairs along the outside of his mouth and nostrils. Attaching the lead rope onto the halter, he unlacthed the stall door and led the gelding out. Cross tieing him in the middle of the aisle, Westin walked to the tack room; where everything was to be placed. He took a body brush from his kit, and then took the proper gear back to his horse.
Running the brush over the coat, making the horse shine and free of dust, Westin then allowed himself to place the saddle and saddle pad ontop of the horse's back. Tightening the girth, and then placing the bridle on were also something easy to look forwards too. Leading Knight out of the barn, he mounted up; heading for a trail entrance. Following the way of signs throughout the way; he found a nice breeze of water coming up ahead. Walking KNight into the clearing, he found that it was the prettiest sight he had ever seen; for being in the states at least.

fter leaving Wes to get his horse ready for the upcoming ride, Bronwyn had taken off to her dormroom, where she quickly changed into better riding clothes; a longsleeved brown shirt and jeans and boots. She paused only to make a sandwich on her way out and hightailed it to the barn and to her American Warmblood's stall. Her hair was still tied back with haystring, but she didn't think about it until she had the big chestnut horse in the crossties and as placing her saddle on the animal.
Taking up went by quickly, Phantom seemed to instinctively know that he was about to just ride for thefun of it and not training, and he stayed unnaturally still as Bronnie tightened the saddle. The girl paused just long enough to grab her helmet and still uneaten sandwich before she led the horse from the barn, untied her hair to retie it in a long braid, and set the helmet on her head, latching it. She held the ham sandwich in her mouth as she gathered the reins and swung into the saddle.
Bronnie knew where to go, and wth a nudge of her heels she directed Phantom ito an animated walk, moving up into a trot, then a slow canter to hurry and get to the trails. She'd wasted a lot of time, running back to her dorm and all, but she had needed to change and had been hungry, as she hadn't eaten since breakfast.
She rode holding the reins in one hand for the time being, as she was carring her sandwich in the other hand and couldn't very well eat while cantering. It was made a bit more complicated by way of the small bottled water she also held between her elbow and side. Finally, though, she and Phantom hit the trailhead and headed down it until they caught sight of Wes and his gelding. "Whoa, Tommie." Bronwyn said softly to the gelding, sitting back in the saddle and feeling the horse slow to a walk as they approached their riding partner and his mount. "Hey. You beat me here." She said as a greeting, throwing out another grin in Wes's direction and taking her first bite of the sandwich in her hand, dropping the reins when Phantom stood still and holding her drink in her opposite hand. "This is Phantom, by the way. I think he's as eager to ride as I am. I've mostly been riding my mare lately." She introduced Wes to her gelding after swallowing he bite of sandwich she'd taken, then took another bite.

Turning his head at the sound of soft thuds on the dirt marked trail, Wess sighted Brownyn and her horse. Knight noticed as well and started to walk towards the pair, interesed in the newcomer. Pulling back on the reins, lightly, Westin stopped his horse from moving forwards; not knowing how the horse would handle it.
Brownyn had obivously changed and wasn't wearing her barn clothes, considering that she wasn't covered with little brown splotches on her clothes now. Grinning back at her, he unmounted Knight and held the gelding's reins in his right hand.
I guess so. Yes, and this is Knight. Beautiful horse. he said complimenting the mount. He was nicely built and had a strong frame to him, Westin could tell. So could Knight, he placed his ears on his head and then let them flower back up, but then placed them back again. Nickering he lowered his head and tried to graze.
So what happened to your apparel? he asked gesturing to her outfit now. Wess showed some joking in his voice so that she would know not to take it too seriously. THe last thing he needed was a girl to get mad at him.

Phantom was clearly interested in the other horse, but after feeling his owner and riders hand on the reins the moment she felt him shift, the chestnut horse decided he'd listen to his rider and sighed, standing still and swishing his tail. He did, however, return the nicker that came from the unfamiliar horse with one of his own. The horse twisted his head around to look at his owner, and Bronnie pulled off a piece of breadcrust and gave to the horse. "You big baby," She said affectionately, pushing his head back away, "Quit begging." Phantom whickered, but turned his head back around, lowering his neck and rubbing his head against his leg, itching himself.
"Thanks. Knight, huh… . He's gorgeous." Bronwyn said. She chose to stay in the saddle as she took another bite of her sandwich and swallowed it before uncapping her drink and taking a long drink. "Sorry about eating, I haven't had anything since breakfast early this morning." She apologized, feeling a bit annoyed with herself as she realized that she could and should have, out of courtesy, finished her sandwich before showing up… "My apparel? Oh, I changed." She said lightly, grinning at his joking tone, "My 'barn-work' clothes aren't comfortable to ride in. Are you ready?" She asked as she finally finished off her sandwich and nudged Phantom, who had taken to pawing at the ground. "Quit digging holes, bud."

Checking the girth on Knight's saddle, he poked the side of the horse's stomach, and as the horse breathed out; Westin tightened the brown leather, making sure it was nice and ready to go. Mounting back up onto the large bay, he then allowed the horse to walk gradually forwards to the newcomer.
Clearly they were both interested in eachother, and Kniight perked his ears, and tried to rush as the horse greeted him back with his own choice of nicker. They seem good around eachother, and happy too. Wess said to Brownyn. It was a good thing he supposed that both the geldings were interested in eachother.
Gorgeous? Maybe, he's more of a trouble maker. he said in response to Brownyn. Knight was as energetic as could be and didn't like to stand still long, which is why Westin walked him aroudn to halt by Brownyn's side, as he was facing her before. Your fine, I ate before I got here. he mentioned to her, not wanting her to feel weird by eating in front of him.
Too bad, I sorta liked it. he said to her wiht a smile and started walking forwards, saying that he was ready whenever she was.

She watched him check his geldings saddle and giggled slightly upon seeing how he poked the animal to get the horse to let loose with the breath he had taken. Bronwyn was very glad that Phantom hadn't figured out how to do that, though her mare did so very often. Sometimes the girl had to actually tighten the saddle on her mare two or three times before it was tight enough to sit in the saddle safely.
Phantom arched his neck, ears pricked curiously as he inched closer to the other gelding. He reached forwards, sniffing noses for a long moment, his breath coming in short snorts before he suddenly squealed loudly and pawed the air playfully, rising on his hind legs, his forelegs in the air only a few feet. Bronwyn, used to his rather exuberant actions at times, merely leaned forwards until the horse returned to the ground. She quickly shortened the reins and made the chestnut back off a few feet, an apologetic smile on her face, though her eyes betrayed her. She wasn't upset in the slightest with the young gelding. "Sorry, he's still young and playful. Let's go." She said, laughing and giving Wes a half-smirk before nudging Phantom into a trot down the trail, hoping the boy would follow.

Hearing a slight giggle from the girl as he poked his horse for the breath of air, Westin, as he mounted up, said, You think thats funny huh? he said to her jokingly, pulling the horse in a cirlce to head off down the trail.
As her horse himself was associated with Knight, watching as the horse reared up a few feet. His mouthed dropped waiting for the girl to slide off; but she was capable of her own horse, as Westin could see. Very impressive, most girls where I come from, would run off screaming. He mentioned to her.
Letting his heels tap into Knight's sides, Westin took off after Brownyn and Phantom, down the trail and into the woods. As they entered; he immediatley had all his senses lit up. Smelling the trees, hearing the thumps in the branches and logs. As Knight and him came up beside Phantom and Brownyn, he mentioned out, So whats this about a dance here?
He had heard things about it, but didn't know what he should do, or undertsand it really. He also wanted to figure out if she was going.Would be nice to know someone.

Bronwyn grinned as she and Phantom trotted on down the trail, looking over her shoulder and to the side when Wes appeared alongside her. She gave him a genuine smile and laughed at his words, nodding. "Thanks. Most girls I know, er, well, most girls I used to know and ride with at my previous schools, they probably couldn't ride a pushbutton pony without proper guidance." She said, eyes shining in mirth as she thought about some of the people she used to ride with and compete against, like Julie, whose parents made sure she had the most expensive horses, tack, clothes, and trainers/instructors, but she still nearly always came in last in competitions. "I've always made it a point to be the best I can be." She finished, refraining from mentioning what she'd found so funny. Bronwyn wasn't one to actively talk about others unless she was seriously upset with someone.
She transitioned Phantom back down to a walk, letting him walk alongside Wes and Knight in a companionable silence for a few minutes before replying to his question thoughtfully. "The Winter Wonderland Dance? Yeah, we're having one in one of the gyms, I think. Are you planning on going?" She said, then asked, tone curious. "I'm not sure if I'm going to go."[/color] She shrugged, a slight frown on her face. "I mean, it'd probably be fun, and I'd like to go, but… I dunno. It's probably also going to be crowded and loud and noisy. I'll probably end up and go for a few hours, though, so as to not be the odd one out." She finally said, though her tone was unsure. Bronnie truly didn't know if she was going or not… she probably would decide to go at the very last minute and rush there, knowing her.

Well thats a very sad crime. Although I probaly would like to see that now and then; around here everyone seems to be to perfect. Wess said. It was a beautiful academy but he just didn't know what to do, with everyone so percise here.
Thats a good thing to push for though. he said back to her, smiling. It was good that she wanted to be the best she could possibly be; Westin had never thought of that before.
Well I don't know, should I go? he asked chuckling at her response. She sounded as if she didn't kow, and then he was postive that she didn't know whether she was going or not. Knight flipped back his mane every few seconds and then placing his head towards the ground. Stroking the big horses neck, Westin placed his heels down farther, in case Knight was planning something.
So anything, or anyone I should watch out for; or looke forwards to here? Wess asked Bronnie, wannting to know whether he should stay away from things or be looking forwards to them everyday. OOC; First off, I am so sorry it took forever. Secondly, I know it's bad.
