Jacob stood next to Queen, who was in cross ties, as he started to tack the mare up. Life in Blue Ridge was slow, and days are always the same. He later then thought about how he will be leaving the Academy soon, since he is eighteen and his senior year is happening during this time. He let out a deep breathe as many things have happened to hime during the time he was here.
He later mounted up the mare after tacking her up, and they started to trot towards the Blue River trails. He lead the mare over towards the Downriver trail, which lead off from Green Hill. He never been to this part of the trails, so he decided he get the experience it with his mare. Riding on the trails, reminded him of the first time we went on a trail ride and got to know someone. Yet he hasn't heard from that certain person in a while. So many things he couldn't explain, and memories are streaming off off of his mind. What's life without Blue Ridge?
It was the Academy who got him to be a bit more social, and it's the place where he finally got to just be himself. Nothing is the same. As the pair walked down the trail, he listened to the river flowing, silently. It was a nice day out, even when winter was just around the corner. He shold spend the moments he has left here at BRRA. He also wondered, if any other riders were lurking out in these parts of the trail.

Lindsey had just finished brushing off Titan's saddle pad, as she now lifted it ontop of him. Cara's method helped, and now that he was released to ride, she thought why not try? Lifting the sadde onto him as well, he reached back, nipping. Sorry, boy. Maybe not today. she said to him, taking off the tack. Placing it back on his stall door, Lindsey simply placed a soft bit bridle on him, making sure it fit just right. Leading the big dapple grey out of the barn, she headed towards the trail, mounting up onto the horse. He flicked his ears, eager to go. Smiling, she walked him out into the trail, taking a detour and thinking. As Titan picked up the pace, she smiled, lettng him canter away. thats it boy, were going to try something new. Lindey then let the reins loose letting her arms straight out like an airplane. She watched Titan throw his head, feeling utterly free. She then let her hands find her sides again and the reins. Pulling Titan back, she opened into a small ravine in the woods. Pulling him down, she unmounted and let him take some water from the small creek. Sitting down next to a tree, she watched the big horse take big long slurps from the small water source. OOC: is it ok that I posted?

Jacob continued to think. Thinking away as he almost dozed off into day dreaming and just letting his mount guide the way. The sudden jerk from Queen made him remember, he was still in the trails. He let out a deep sigh and loosened the reins slightly, letting the mare got into a light canter. He slowed her down as they went through detours for a small clearing to rest and just lose himself in nature. Not having a care in the world.
He never gets time to just relax and have a nice time, his schedule is a bit busy here. He just shrugged it off as they entered a small woods. He spotted a girl and a familiar horse. He remembered that horse, it was Titan, and that girl, Lindsey. He bet she heard the light pounding hooves from his mount. "Oh, hey Lindsey.." He finally said something to her, and that was all he wanted to say before adding a bit hesitantly. "Mind if Queen and I join you two?" He asked with a effortlessly smile, more of a grin.
His heart pounded slightly when the pair found Lindsey. He hasn't talked to her since, a while. It felt like forever since he never kept track of the days. He didn't know what they were at the moment. Friends? More than friends? He wonders if Lindsey knows what the two should be. Yet for sure, at least friends..
OOC: Sure, don't mind at all (:

Titan lifted his head high into the air, snorted, flicked his tail; and then placed his muzzle close to the water again. Lindsey could hear the faint sound of horseshoes coming up ontop of them, and she was prepared for Titan's usual spook. He didn't seemed worried though, and she soon found out why.
Seeing the familar mare, and the boy ontop of her, Lindsey smiled. She had been in her dorm earlier and read the comment on the blog about her and him, in which she wasn't to happy, but hey; it is what it is.
Hearing the boy's question, she nodded scooting over near the river; allowing space for him to come and sit next to her. She hoped that all would go well, he or she would bring up something to get them both intrested in. Or settle what they were for that matter; it would be nice for everything not to be so ackward anymore, just them two, again.
Titan slowly walked over to where Queen was, and he started to graze on some grass a few feet away from her; it was the first horse he had approached since the incident with him and being isolated. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary either.

He gave a sly grin back over to her as Queen gave a soft whicker towards the familiar horse, Titan. He patted her neck to calm her as he got a positive nod from her, as he walked Queen over to the side and started to dismount the mare.
He took off her saddle and saddle pad along with it, yet kept the bridle on and just swung it over her head to get it out of her way. "Be nice to Titan, Queen" He whispered to her as she walked off and nudged the horse a hello. He then walked over with his hands in his pockets towards Lindsey before sitting next to her by the river.
She was a bit silent, usually they would be talking by now. Yet they haven't even started a regular topic. He then decided to speak, unusual that he would being starting a random topic first. "So, how have you been? Titan doing good too?" He asked hoping she wouldn't mind a bit of chit chat. He wondered if something happened to her, since she was usually would talk along with him as well. He hasn't really been keeping up with the rumors. Yet he has seen the gossip banner about how the rumors spread about how he had a crush on Lindsey. Maybe he does, yet only as a friend. He doubt Lindsey would even feel the same for him. Seems pointless at the moment.

Having the boy come over to her and sit felt nice and comforting, as it hadn't happened in awhile. Hearing the question pop out of his mouth, she noticed how relatively quiet she was. d**n Lindsey, she thought to herself biting her lip.
We've both been going through a lot of crap. He, as you know, had his tendon; been sort of isolating himself, until Cara helped. I have been..... she said thinking about how she had been. Sad? Happy? Confused..... She personally hadn't known herself. Turning her head back to him she settled on a choice, Missing you?
Taking a small stick from beside her, Lindsey let it bounce into the water with her flick of the wrist. Watching it rush down the river and get stuck on the opposite bank, she knew how she felt then. It was like two diffrent places, the earth split in half. She was on one half, he was on the other, and all she wanted was it to come back together. Be in one piece and not ever break again.
Titan walked up behind her, nudging her a bit. Walking around her, he trudged into the stream, having it been deep and calm enough to swim in. Although it was warm outside, she thought her was crazy to be swimming in the fall; almost winter.

Sitting by an old friend of his, was nice since a long while. He guessed they're old friends, yet it was not that long ago since they met each other and became friends. The memories of meeting Lindsey was still a bit fuzzy, since his mind wasn't in the mood to remember an old memory for now. He just knew that being friends with Lindsey, was nice for a change ever since his bad history.
He glanced over shyly as she talked about how she felt. "We've both been going through a lot of crap. He, as you know, had his tendon; been sort of isolating himself, until Cara helped. I have been..... " He heard how her sentence was partly unfinished. It sounded like her and Titan are having an 'okay' kind of month. He could hear a bit of hurt in her voice, even if she tried to hide it. If Queen had her tendon and been through as much crap as they have been, he would feel hurt as well. Not just her. His hearing shot up as she decided to finally finish her sentence. "Missing you?"
He just continued giving his sly grin towards her. Yet he was unsure when she commented about missing him. It sounded more of like a question if she replied to him right. Why, is the problem he's trying to answer. He just gave a shrug towards her. He was unsure of how to reply correctly either. At least he wouldn't comment kind of like Lindsey did. It wasn't that he was annoyed by it. Just confused is all. He didn't know what else to say, as the awkward silenced kicked in between their conversation.
OOC: Awkward post too.....

As Lindsey had said the words out of her mouth, she wondered on how he was to take it. Good or bad? Offensive? Insensitive of her? She didn't know, but when she just started off into space, and didn't have any words to bring her back into reality; she mentally was feeling horrible.
Once Jacob didn't say anything back, and just kept a grin on his face; she pushed off the ground with her hands, brushing off her jeans. Stroking Titan, Lindsey stroked his neck; making her way to his back, so she could mount up onto him.
I guess I'll leave it at that. she said, not knowing what else to say; since she wasn't getting anything back fromm him. She would love for them to be together, but she didn't know where she stood...now especially. It could be in his mind as the worst thing that anyone had ever said to him. Before she mounted onto Titan's back, she would at least wait until she was sentenced to leave; with no more conversation once so ever.
The dappled grey gelding slurped up some more water from the stream, hearing the nice water rush into his mouth, made Lindsey cock her head, wathcing how they drank.
