After Jackson had taken his gelding for a spin; he didn't feel like doing anything more than resting. Stroking Samurai's cherry neck; Jackson then patted it twice and walked out of the stall, latching it behind himself. Feeling the soft nudge of a head behind him, Jackson turned saying, I'll be back tommarow, now be good...both of you. he said; glaring at Andonis, who took a nip towards Samurai.
Walking out and away from the barn, Jackson's mind spun around and around. He didn't want to go back to his dorm, or did he even feel like it. Deciding on the closest thing to him, it was the Rec Room. There were Tv's there; and Jackson would feel nice and relaxed, hopefully.
Starting towards the nice area, Jackson then pratically ran for it whenever the building came to view. Two at a time up the steps; Jackson then swung the door open, revealing fresh and cooling air in the rooms surrounding him. Quickly walking over to a couch with the Tv, Jackson claimed it as his and started flipping through channels; as noone was around, yet.
It suprised him that not one person had even been there, not one;but then again they were loaded with homework tonight, but still. Jackson had finished it all early and had been done with it before he went out for a ride. Relaxing back on the soft couch, Jackson closed his eyes tuning out everything.

Henri above all felt tired; she wanted to go to her dorm room and sleep. The week had been too long, especially with that drinking incident and the falling incident. There was still a pretty nice bruise on her back from that. The girl shuddered as she thought about it, feeling stupid yet again for causing Hutch to crash into that jump. She sighed, trying to make corrections and different ways to have approached it in her head before finally forcing herself to stop. She needed some kind of distracting thing to do. The brunette immediately thought back to alcohol, but shook her head at herself. No way in hell, not after the past night.
She was currently still in the barn, and Hutch drew the half asleep girl back to the world. Henri’s eyes wandered back to the large gelding, giving him a soft pat compared to her usual tough scrubs. Annoyed with her lack of attention, the horse gave her a hard nudge. Henri nearly went flying before bopping him in the nose. Now they had both managed to get each other’s attention. As much as she put up with the horse’s need to get in everyone’s space, she didn’t take when he tried to play ruff. Henri knew that the gelding knew that too.
Finally after spending a few more minutes outside of his stall, Henri walked slowly back into the main campus area wondering what would take her mind off life for a few minutes. The idea of the recreation room hit her head like a bullet. Henri smiled at herself, she had been there after her fall and she hoped it had the same comfy couches and TVs. The girl hurried her pace, finally opening to the door and walking in. Immediately her eyes caught onto the boy she had met the other day while riding; Jackson. Henri made a soft smile as she realized he seemed to be pretty tired too. Henri dropped her slender body next to him with a chuckle “Hey.” she said softly before looking at the TV he had claimed. “Whatcha up to?” she asked.

It was getting a bit too chilly outside as the sun slowly began to move across the sky. It wasn't late by any means, but the time change had sent the sun setting sooner than before. And without a jacket, Kevin didn't feel like catching a cold. He had far too much to do. Tomorrow, Henri's beloved mare would be arriving.. He figured at some point he'd need to stop by her dorm to invite her for a trail ride or something to get her down to the barn. He grinned as he imagined the adorable smile she'd get on her face when she saw the horse she thought by now was dead. And the praise she'd be giving him wasn't too bad either.
Shaking his head to escape the day dream, he began to make his way back to the part of campus that housed students. He shoved his hands down in the pockets of his dark jeans, eyes darting all over as he took in all the sights - birds settling in nests, squirrels racing around tree trunks, and students taking their dogs for the last walk of the night.
As his eyes landed on the Rec Room, he shrugged, deciding it couldn't hurt to watch a bit of t.v. before going off the his room for the night. His roommate was almost never home, and he rarely had interaction time with humans. Really, he only ever interacted with Henri. But then, he wasn't complaining. He had felt, from the moment they'd met, a rather strong connection with the gorgeous girl. He bit his lip, reminding himself not to get too attached to her, even though he knew it was far too late for that.
Upon entering the Rec Room, his eyes immediately landed on the familiar brown hair of the girl who had not left his mind all day. He grinned, sneaking up behind the couch she was on, not paying any mind to the boy next to her. He flung his arms over the couch, cupping his hands over her eyes. "Guess whoooooooooo!" he called out, propping his chin on the top of her head. He glanced over to the boy next to her, nodding as much as he could without digging his chin into her head in a hello.
OOC: So sorry for how long this reply took! Life has been really busy.

As Jackson settled for a Lacrosse game on the T.V.; he settled in and watched as a goal was shot, and pratically knocked the goalie out of his own head. Thank the lord for helmets.
Lacrosse was a hard game to find on T.V. but once he did find it; he couldn't stop watching. But once he started to play the sport; there was no stopping him at that either. It sucked that Blue Ridge didn't have a formed Lacrosse team yet, and he looked forward to it; sadly.
Hearing a familar voice as his eyes gently closed, Jackson looked up. Seeing Henri gazing over him; Jackson said, Nothing really, watching a game; being a boy. he said to her, chuckling and now wide awake.
As the door had a familar sound again; Jackson raised a brow as two hands appeared over Henri's face, and then the guy nodded in his direction. Giving a annoyed, or "I don't care'', sort of two finger wave, Jackson paid his attention back to the game that was racing on the telivision. Apparently, he wasn't the only one Henri had met, and now Jackson felt as struck as the goalie.

Henri relaxed her tired body into the couch, happy to find that her bruise didn’t hurt nearly as much as it did before. Her eyes flickered to the television, wondering what Jackson was watching. She didn’t hide the smirk as it was sports he was watching. She nodded to his explanation of what he was doing “So I guess watching sports is something that guys like to do a lot eh?” she said with a grin, remembering all the movies and things she’d read. It seemed to be most of stereotypes weren’t all wrong. Henri chuckled and raised a brow to realize he was watching lacrosse.
She wasn’t quite familiar with the sport except for the fact they had stick thingamabobs and goal. The brunette jumped as the goalie got pretty smashed, thankful that the person had a helmet. “Can’t say I’ve ever really watched a lacrosse game on T.V.” Henri shot the boy a smile. “I actually don’t even know the rules or anything…” she confessed “But if someone was oh so kind to explain it, I might figure out what’s going on.” she said with a chuckle. It would be nice to learn something new as she had learned by the looks of it, Jackson played lacrosse.
Henri gasped as she was momentarily blinded for a few moments and a something that felt like a chin rested softly on her head. A mischievous grin played on her lips as the familiar voice reached her ears. “Hmmm…. Is it by chance a Kevin?” she asked slowly, before snatching his hands off her eyes and tilting her head up to look at him . Her blue eyes lightened up, and the girl looked towards Jackson who had resumed to going to his game. “Kevin, Jackson. Jackson, Kevin.” she attempted to introduce, though she could see the blonde wasn’t really into starting a conversation at this moment.

Until that point, Kevin had assumed that the person Henri was seated next to was just a friend, some guy that she had just met. It seemed that even though she was shy, she made friends with just about everyone. Or was it just guys she befriended easily? She was gorgeous after all. But at that moment, he realized this boy seemed to have in interest in Henri. HIS Henri! Well, not his. But he did look out for her and take care of her and lo-
Wait. No. He shook his head gently. Still, the rude boy she was with got his blood boiling. Not that he'd ever show it. Her voice distracted him for a moment, and he grinned down at her. "Congratulations, miss! You just won a trip for two to the glorious destination of the Rec Room. You'll be staying on the couch. Thanks for playing Guess That Chin!" He chuckled softly before walking around from the back of the couch. Noticing that there was a small gap between Henri and the boy, he decided he might as well take it. Maybe "might as well" was too casual of a term. He had no choice but to take it. Henri had no business interacting with someone as unfriendly as the boy she quickly named as Jackson.
Kevin plopped himself down between the two, scootching back and forth to give himself enough room, pushing Henri gently over. He grinned over at her before grinning over at the guy as well. His attention turned to the t.v., his brows raising. He wasn't much of a lacrosse guy. He only ever watched football, and that was only socially. Watching sports never gave him much enjoyment. "So, how's the day going?" he asked, looking back and forth between the two, knowing full well that Jackson wouldn't be thrilled that he had taken his place next to Henri. But he didn't need Henri knowing he was trying to get the guy a little urked. It wasn't her fault that she was so sheltered that she picked a bad guy.

Hearing the response from Henri, Jackson smiled at her. Yeah, no kidding. I love to watch sports, when I'm not hanging out with one of my best friends. Jackson said raising his brows at her. Smiling at her, whenever she mentioned about not knowing a lot, he replied, One day we'll hang out, I'll teach you a lot. You'll become my apprentice. he told her laughing a bit. He could imagine him and Henri hangin out watching a Lacrosse game; it was a nice thought.
Hearing the guy as Kevin now, Jackson nodded towards Henri's direction. Hearing Kevin's gestures and clues that he woudl rather have him and Henri alone, Jackson's eyes rolled. Jerkoff. As he seated himself between Jackson and Henri, he foudn that even more ignorant. Glancing at Henri knowing that she would see him, and that Kevin was turned toward her attention; Jackson gave her a look, no "the" look. Hopefully she would understand that if anything happened about his problem with this guy, that Jackson could get in major trouble. Kevin better keep his leash on tight, if he doesn't he might be getting a jerk or two.

Henri grinned at his response. Best friends? It seemed as though the boy had been at BRRA for quite a while. Her look turned curious, but she decided to keep the question to herself till later. Right now, she was too busy trying to understand the somewhat complicated game of lacrosse. Of course, it probably wasn’t at all complicated for Jackson and Henri envied the boy’s knowledge on these things a bit. She had never been able to go to any games let alone learn them and now she had a secret little fear of flying balls. It was partially instinctual, but Henri knew if her father had let her do some normal sports as a child she might’ve been a bit tougher with these things.
Her eyes lit up happily as the boy agreed to teaching her how to play lacrosse one day. Henri nodded, a chuckle falling out of her lips. “Alright future mentor. That sounds like quite a bit of fun.” It was never too late to learn some things… Henri knew she was probably going to embarrass herself when this one day came, but decided to keep the agitation thoughts at a rest. She had enough problems at home to deal with too much self-consciousness.
Henri’s grin grew brighter as Kevin entered the room. The boy always seemed to be able to put a grin onto her face and now both of the boys she’d met were here. Completely oblivious to how they reacted, Henri treated both as if they could all be ‘Best Friends Forever’. Perhaps she could’ve gotten three necklaces for them all like the ones she’d seen people wearing around. As sad as it was, Henri had never worn anything like that because she’d never had anyone to give them to.
A giggle caused her lips to stretch into a happy look and she made a achieved face “Yay!!!” a snort came afterwards as Kevin told out the surprise. “I struck the jackpot!” she exclaimed sarcastically, chuckling and watching curiously as the boy exchanged a look with Jackson. Henri was pretty sure she was starting to see things. Still, she decided to pretend she didn’t see the looks and watched as Kevin came around to the front side of the couch. Her eyes widened in pure surprise as Kevin wiggled his butt into the small space between her and Jackson and moved her a tiny bit. Still, she complied, a funny look on her face as he seemed very enthusiastic about meeting Jackson. “Pretty good. Hanging with Jackson.” Henri shot the other boy a grin, but stopped half way noticing the look he gave her. She bit her lip nervously, wondering what to do. She didn’t want to risk Jackson losing his temper as he’d explained he’d do and she didn’t want Kevin getting hurt. Henri decided to act very happy all of sudden. The brunette stood up, looking somewhat perky. “So, guys, what do you want to do? I take it you haven’t met before right? Well… um… er… We could play a board game!” She raised a brow, not understanding the tension in the room.
OOC: -smacks forehead- I am not responsible for the ideas of Henri. xD

Kevin laughed his deep laugh as Henri seemed so pleased with her winnings. Why shouldn't she be? It was becoming more and more clear that the girl enjoyed his company, maybe even was growing to desire it. Not that he didn't feel exactly the same about her's. The two never seemed to have a dull moment together. Ever since they'd met in the wash racks not so long ago, they had clicked. Everything felt right between them. Nothing was forced or uncomfortable.
What was uncomfortable was the situation she'd just put him into. Still, he wasn't about to back out now. Especially not with the dirty look he could feel Henri's little friend giving him. He looked towards her, grinning. "That's right you did! You just won a Kevin, what ever will you do next?" he called out, mimicking the interviewers who talked to the winners of the Super Bowl every year. Of course, she was rather sheltered, so who knew if she knew the customary answer of "I'm going to Disney Land" or not.
He turned his head to glance at Jackson as he heard her answer, looking him over once. He seemed to think he was all that. Kevin raised a brow before looking back over at the adorably oblivious Henri. She didn't seem to sense the testosterone filled tension. That was probably for the best though. The poor girl would probably blame herself and make herself feel even worse than before. Which reminded him that this time tomorrow, she'd probably think he was Superman. That thought got him grinning.
Suddenly, Henri jumped up. Kevin's brows creased as he watched her, stifling a laugh at her suggestion. Yep, that was the adorable, clueless Henri he'd grown to know. Board games definitely solved everything. "Board games! Yeah! Great idea, Hen," he replied, trying to keep his voice up beat. "Ya know, I think a good game of Trouble would be a good idea. Or maybe a game of Sorry is in order," he added, glancing over at the other boy. Jackson certainly could use to say sorry and leave before he ended up in trouble. Funny how board games could be used to so cleverly send subliminal messages. He quickly flashed a grin at the boy, knowing it would only get under his skin.

Smiling at Henri, he laughed out loud at the thought of seeing her trying to play or even watch Lacrosse. It was a nice thought and he didn't mean anything of it; they were just getting to be nice and good friends. He'd like to keep it that way, be there when she needed him.
As the boy seemed to get the cue that Jackson didn't appreciate his rudeness, Jackson breathed in a out; controliing himself for now. trying to take in what was happening was like an adrenaline rush. Thankfully, Henri broke the ice and brought up an idea. Board game? You really must be going mental now. Jackson said showing sarcasm in his voice. But what the heck?
As the words fumbled out of the idiot in front of him, Jackson let a sigh come out; seeing the words as they were meant to be. Standing up, his shoudler blades in a perfect L shape out of his high dry shirt, he tried to be dilligent and not get in the way of anything. Look, I understand what you and Henri are, but that doesn't mean you can come in here; butt in between us, and pratically ask me to leave. I would like to enjoy your company and I don't want her to get hurt, but there is no way in h*ll I am going to tolerate you.

Henri was quite oblivious to the testosterone filled air. She hadn’t been in such situation with the boys back home because they were all too snotty to be even thinking of laying a hand on another’s “filthy” self. She grinned at Kevin and Jackson, happy to see two people she’d particularly grown to like over the weeks she’d come. For all she knew, with Kevin’s weird eagerness to get to know Jackson, they’d make good friends. Henri grinned at the thought, even though it probably was going to go the other way. She simply had no idea it was about her.
The brunette chuckled as Kevin asked her what she was going to do since she’d won a Kevin. Henri made a mischievous smile, tapping her chin as she thought. She hadn’t ever really watched reality T.V., nor had she had many friends before so she really didn’t know. Finally grinning with her idea, she looked at Kevin “Hmm… I think I’m going to… TICKLE YOU!” she exclaimed, knowing she was being very mean now. Her fingers played with his stomach, knowing his weak spot from before. Oh, how much fun it was to tickle Kevin. The one thing she had advantage over, well, if he didn’t have the ability to trap her under his body as he’d done the other day.
As the tension in the room made its way into Henri’s blue orbs, she perked up immediately, hoping this would save the situation. The brunette grinned as she suggested the board game, the top thing off her list of things to do on a rainy day. Of course, whether if it was raining or not didn’t matter. She grinned as Kevin agreed and then laughed out loud at Jackson’s comment. “Why thank you.” she said to both of them.
As the boy agreed afterwards however with a typical Jackson statement, Henri grinned “Alright, give me a second, I’m going to go find some. I’m sure they put them in that closet over there.” she said, knowing this because of some other time she’d been there. Henri nearly skipped off in all her perkiness, very happy to be with two of the people she’d met and confused because they didn’t seem to exactly like each other. She pushed it off as something she’d imagined however. Henri looked carefully over, trying to find the games Kevin suggested; noticing a theme in them. Still, they were board games and they could have fun. Due to her searching, her ears did not catch the newly tension built words. Her eyes still searched for the closet finding a monopoly. Henri sighed and grabbed a stool, maybe they were up there. She grinned and set it down firmly before hesitantly standing on it.

Kevin arched a brow as Henri thought over her answer to his question of what she would do next. But her answer was not one that he was expecting nor was it one he was prepared for. His brows furrowed, a puzzled looking flashing over his features before he was assaulted by tickling fingers. "Hey! Wait a second!" he cried, squirming away from her before remembering that they were among company. And that person didn't need to see him wiggling around because he had a weak spot. He was there to protect Henri, but he couldn't do much without being taken seriously. He quickly caught the girl's wrists in his large hands before glancing down at her and chuckling. "Nice try," he laughed softly, shaking his head. "Thanks for playing and better luck next time!"
But the playful tone of the room didn't even have a chance to fully exist before it was destroyed. Henri, adorable as always, seemed completely oblivious to the tension yet again. Kevin had a feeling that if they were in the dog world, Henri would be a Golden Retriever, always hoping for the best and friendly. It was adorable, sure, but if she kept it up, she'd get him into trouble. There were just some people who weren't safe to befriend. And he'd be the one saving her from those people.
And everything about this kid's body language told Kevin that Jackson was one of those people. He seemed increasingly angry, more so than Kevin had expected him to be. That was a sign of some anger management issue. And that was a sign of danger. All of his muscles tensed as the boy rose to his feet. Kevin moved closer to Henri, a step or so in front of her to put himself somewhat between the two. But to his luck, Henri bounded off to find games, leaving just the two boys in the room. He was sure Henri wouldn't notice what was being said between the two since she was no doubt very focused on finding games to help them all bond.
Before Kevin could speak, Jackson's rather harsh voice rang out. His brows furrowed as the kid spoke, suppressing his laughter. Okay, so maybe his smart-as*ness would get him into a bit of trouble, too, not just Henri. "You don't know anything about Henri and I, so I'd advise keeping your mouth shut," Kevin replied, his tone even and unemotional. "But you do need to leave so that Henri doesn't get hurt. She doesn't need to have a man like you around her." His eyes stayed fixed on Jackson, watching his every movement, his every muscle flinch. It was like reading a horse. When the tension in the muscles grew too much, it was time to move unless you liked getting kicked. And Kevin didn't need a fight getting him sent home. "She's a good girl; a guy like you has no business being around her." He let his words sink in for a moment, weighing his options. Should he be a smartas* or drop it?
Ah, what the heck, you only live one. "And there's no way you can both enjoy my company and not tolerate me. Why don't you go back to English class, maybe read a dictionary, and then try to intimidate me, alright big boy?"

As Henri and Kevin seemed pretty close, he tried not to gag. He was never the one to be around a couple to much; he had always left, but he didn't want to just vanish; and leave Henri.
As she offered the board games and then left to find him and Kevin alone in the same room....together. Not the best move by her; but she seemed oblivious to the sudden tension to the two. Maybe she felt it but just brushed it off her shoulder; trying to make it seem less ackward. Wasn't working.
Kevin even thought to try to protect her from him, funny. As the boy seemed to think and know everything about Jackson himself. You think you know everything about me? I can tell you one thing, I certainly don't like a*sh*oles who walk in and think they can tell me what to do. he said just stating his point. He couldn't tell him what to do.
Just listening to the boy's words for now, Jackson let them run through his body. Every muscle flexing and getting ready to let out the rampage inside him. No, he couldn't let his mind get ahead of him; not in front of Henri.
You know what? None of that is your choice to make, so I suggest you stop being a dumba*s and just let it go. If it's really that important to you; let her decide. Jackson told him, whispering so that he could only hear. That girl over there has stars sparkling in her eyes, and she can do whatever she pleases. It's her life and I don't think you have any control over it. If you really want to ask her, go for it; but don't you dare make her choose. Jackson said still standing, with a stern and strick look on his face.

Henri was not the one to get into any types of fights, nor had she ever really seen anyone fight full on quite yet. She giggled as Kevin caught her wrists with ease and sighed. “Awe.” Despite the playfulness she’d tried to create throughout the room, it didn’t seem to be working so of course she’d gone onto the next resort. Board games had always seemed to settle scores between her and Clarence, well, unless she beat her of course, but still. Henri was still unclear on whether she imagining the looks exchanged between the two boys or if they were actually pissed at each other before they even knew each other.
The brunette took a breather all by her lonesome in the closet, trying to sort out her thoughts on the situation at hand. She had never seen that protective, nearly jealous gaze in Kevin nor had she seen the particularly negative side of Jackson. While she was a bit innocent, the girl had noticed a bit of things. And she’d begun to try and ignore in hopes it would go away. It was a method she’d been using for all of her problems, but unsurprisingly, her problems always seemed to rise up.
Henri grinned as she found a game of Sorry and hopped somewhat ungracefully off the stool. A hard thump was heard as her butt hit the floor and the girl stood up with a somewhat embarrassed blush starting to spread across her cheeks. “I’m okay!” she yelled out, before anyone asked. Walking with new confidence, Henri shook the box for the game with a successful grin. “I found a game we can all play.” Henri raised a brow as she noticed something being whispered. She couldn’t help but feel as if she was seeing things. Shaking her head quickly, the girl sat the game on the table and began to open it up. “So what color do you guys want to be?” she asked, a hopeful, adorable look coming across her blue, doe eyes.

Kevin had been at Blue Ridge for a little over a month now, and not once had he run into a situation where he couldn't help but feel that a fight was going to occur. Things at this school had always been so drama free and cautious. That was probably because getting in a fight would risk expulsion. And seeing as Blue Ridge was both expensive and prestigious, getting kicked out really wasn't a good idea. And so, Blue Ridge Academy was a peaceful school.
Until now. Who the heck did this guy think he was? Kevin knew instantly they were in for some sort of aggression. And that wasn't good. Of course, Kevin didn't want to get kicked out of Blue Ridge. But he also knew he wasn't in the best health for a fight. His rib couldn't possibly handle a good hit. Even now, as he stood, tensed but unmoving, he could feel the pain from his improperly healed bone. He was at a huge disadvantage all thanks to one stupid fall. Still, if he had to, he'd fight. He'd never back down, especially not when all this revolved around Henri. He was her protector; he'd never willingly let someone else get in his way of keeping her safe, injured or not. He glanced over to the closet where the oblivious girl was, finding it almost humorous how wrong she was about thinking he was so strong. He had so many weaknesses, but she had made it perfectly clear he was her savior. And he wouldn't ever let her down.
"If you don't like it, don't stick around," Kevin replied, raising a brow as he looked over the overly aggressive male in front of him. Yeah, the testosterone pumping through that kid's veins was nearly visible. A fight wouldn't be fun. Kevin had been in plenty of little fights outside of school. No one really messed with him back home. But being a good fighter with an injury wasn't much of a match for a raging man. He could see the tensing of each muscle in Jackson's body as though he were ready to pounce. And Kevin would prefer he didn't pounce. Still, he held his ground, keeping a rather emotionless, if not bored, look on his face.
He laughed once as the kid finished his second little speech, raising a brow once more. "Wait, wait, wait. So I can let her decide, but I shouldn't let her chose? You do know she can't do one without the other, right big fella?" That was the trouble with a good smartas*. They enjoyed it too much. He let the silence slowly settle in for a few seconds before deciding to go on. "Just leave her alone. She doesn't need someone who can put her in danger with one unintended insult," he added, his voice a bit huskier.
His head snapped around as he heard her voice calling out that she was okay. She seemed to be okay, so he chuckled, shaking his head as he watched her. "You're a vision of grace," he teased, glancing over once more at the boy before walking back over to Henri where she was setting up the game. "Can I be blue? Pretty please?" He grinned innocently, hoping she would buy his fake friendliness. It seemed as though she really cared about them all playing a game, so he wasn't about to ruin it for her.
