As Henri didn't seem to notice the harsh words being said between the two of the boys; Jackson decided to keep it going on. Why not? Henri wasn't going to be noticing anything. Then thinking of what he had promised himself earlier. In the library. Never, ever, would he hurt her that way; let alone someone she really cares about.
Thinking about letting the fight go, he couldn't as Kevin spoke up, making it bigger of a deal now. Just shaking his head and placing a sly grin on his face, Jackson then looked towards Henri as Kevin finished up his speech; towards Jackson. Pretending to be all friendly like, Jackson felt his pulse on his wrist.
The vein he felt was sticking out, which meant that he was tense all over; totally visible to everyone. Calming himself quickly, he sat down on the couch, and then said, Whatever, not caring whether Henri heard or not. As the two sat down to play a game together, Jackson took out his headphones and placed them in his ear; turning on his music from his Iphone.
He decided to stay a bit, see if any other words would be exchanged. He couldn't do anything anymore, and if she couldn't see it in his language; then he wouldn't try anymore. Jackson was there to protect her, help her, considered her all he had; but Kevin would come and take that away. Just like his family. Rubbing his left eye, he could feel the water coming out; but then stopping.

Henri wasn’t in a particularly happy or sad mood when she’d arrived to find Jackson sitting there. Of course, both the boys managed to lighten up her day, but now it was going astray. What was going on? The girl was actually quite completely confused. She didn’t get the ways of men due to her lack of seeing the world, and even though she’d seen many movies, it was hard for her too tell what was going on. The brunette frowned slightly, but eventually broke out into a grin as Kevin came over to play the board game with her. She chuckled as he vindicated for blue “Alright Kev – you can be blue.”
She lifted her gaze to the blonde that was sitting on the couch. The girl had heard the ‘whatever’ in his tone and her brow furrowed. Henri didn’t quite understand what had gone down while she was going off to get a game, but she didn’t think they had said anything bad to each other. She frowned; not knowing exactly was going on. Giving Kevin a look, she grabbed the yellow, deciding to be the color of the sun and set up her game pieces. Her eyes didn’t stop flickering back to Jackson as she set up the game however.
Finally, the girl stopped short as she saw Jackson rub his eye. Something was seriously wrong, and she needed to go make him feel better. She knew of his problems, and she knew how hard his life had been. Giving Kevin a soft smile, she tapped his shoulder “Hey, why don’t you set up the rest, and I’ll be back in second.” With that, the girl stood up and crossed over where Jackson sat, listening to his music. She sat down next to him and tentatively begun “Jackson? Are you alright? Please let me help…" she said very softly. Her voice was filled with complete kindness as she tried to assess the situation, trying to cool his obvious tension and ease the problem out of his head.

Kevin knew the tension had to end soon. And it would either end with a hit or with someone backing down. He knew backing down would be the right thing to do, but he didn't want Jackson to think he could walk all over him. It was as though being injured made Kevin feel the need to overcompensate and make sure he was always respected by the other guys. He hadn't been in any sort of fight since the injury, and he really didn't want to start now. And thankfully, Jackson seemed to get his head together as well.
And all in good time, since Henri decided to pop out of the closet and graciously let him be the color he wanted. He was always blue. Maybe to match his eyes? Or maybe because blue was his very favorite color. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" He grinned at her, trying to let her know he was excited to play the game. She had seemed so excited to play before she went into the closet.
His eyes trailed over to Jackson who was being a jerk and sitting away from them. But he seemed a bit more upset than before. But not upset like he wanted to deck Kevin anymore. Rather, he looked hurt. Part of him told him to go over and apologize, but he quickly tore his eyes off of the boy, looking back to Henri. She seemed worried about him, which only got him... angry. Why did she care so much about him? Kevin bit his lip, realizing he was growing jealous. And that just wasn't acceptable. He nodded as she excused herself to see the other boy, sighing softly.
Kevin went to setting up the board, putting the sets of four pawns in their "start" bubbles. He glanced over his shoulder to look at the two. "I put red and green both out; I wasn't sure which color you wanted," he said gruffly to Jackson, hoping to keep things civil for Henri's sake.

As Henri came over to the couch to help him with his problems, Jackson took his headphones off; letting them slide over his neck; laying there. Hearing her words in what he didn't find appreciative, Jackson shook his head.
I really don't think we should be talking. It seems like he has a pretty good claim on you. Comes in and takes you away from me- he then mumbled, like everything else in my life.
Hearing the gruff words from Kevin, Jackson then got up from the couch. Have fun with your games, but I'll let you explain to her what happened..Kevin. Turning his back, Jackson headed for the door. Placing his hand on the metal handle; he turned back to Kevin, By the way, I've read a dictionary...twice.
With that he walked out on the two. All he had wanted from Henri was a friend, but since Kevin had a leash and collar on her it seemed; he couldn't do that. Jackson walked down the concrete stairs and would let her little friend explain what had happened. If he lied to Henri, then Jackson wouldn't care. All he needed now was a stick and a net.

Henri worried. She was somewhat of a dreamer with an intense academic push from her family, though it was dying away slowly. The girl couldn’t help but worry. It was simply just one of the things she did best. Her heart was big, perhaps a bit too big. The girl trusted too easily, she was vulnerable to many things, though it didn’t matter much to her. Henri was sensitive in her own little ways, though it helped her to understand when someone was hurt. From Jackson’s hunched, sad position alone on the couch, a very bad feeling overcame her. He was definitely hurting somewhere and she intended to fix it.
Trying to pull her lips up into a smile, she looked over the boy; struggling to understand what was going on. There was a definitely some kind of tension in the room, though she wasn’t quite sure what was causing it. Narrowing her eyes in a confused haze, she spoke her soft words and was surprised by the boy’s answer. Stung slightly at his voice, Henri pulled back slightly, trying to understand what he was saying. Finally, she reached out slightly but stopped midway “Jackson- I’m not going to be “taken away” from you…”
Henri frowned; Kevin certainly held a grip on her, though it wasn’t one that stopped her from being friends with other people. It was one that captivated her heart in a sense that she hadn’t felt before. Jackson was a struggling individual that captured her heart as well, though it wasn’t the same. They were both different and she wasn’t quite sure what was clashing between them. Biting her lower lip softly, she watched with wide eyes as Jackson stood up and spoke words to Kevin.
The girl’s gaze went directly from the blonde to the boy sitting next to the board game. She raised her brows more questionably than accusingly and moved back to where her place was. Making eye contact with Kevin, Henri continued on to figure out what was going on “Kevin? What just happened?” Her voice wasn’t mad or angry as the words might’ve sounded; mainly it was hurt and curious.
