Laurena walked up the flight of stairs, suitcase and all. Lucky for her, one suitcase was all she truly needed. She can't believe she managed to fit her entire wardrobe into one suitcase -- a generous suitcase mind you --. Fitting her entire wardrobe into one suitcase could mean one of two things: she either doesn't own a lot of stuff, or she jam packed everything in and is going to have a hell of a time unpacking it all. Luckily for her, its the first one.
When Laurena finally reached the second floor, she breathed a sigh of relief. Here she is, her new home. She walked down the hall, in search of room B08. She had been informed that her roommate goes by the name of Alia Williams, and she cannot wait to meet her.
Laurena open the door to B08, and was pleasantly surprised. Besides having her own bed, she has her own desk, wardrobe, nightstand, and bookshelf. She chose the bed closest to the window, and plopped her suitcase right on top of it.
I'll unpack this later, right now, I'm going to explore! She took a quick look around, and found that her and her roommate share a bathroom. Phew! No university style showers where 5 girls shower at once! Laurena sat at her desk, and waited for the arrival of Alia, before she goes out to explore.

The sixteen year old girl sauntered through the first floor, sunglasses perched on her nose, covering her blue/green eyes. She wasn't in to wearing sunglasses inside, and if there wasn't any sun, but at the moment she felt a little too lazy to just reach up and take her glasses off, she would do that in her room. The teenager had her hair pulled up in a high ponytail that she had just threw on in the morning, in all honesty she felt a bit sloppy today, but didn't really care. Her eyes looked down her long legs that wore black skinny jeans and glanced over the black wedges with bows on the tips. Her fingers touched the dark gray heart necklace with gems along it, and her fingers then reached up to touch the silver bow earrings, making sure all her things were still in their places, she dropped her hand to the side.. From first glance, maybe seeing her walking down the hall, she looked like a very serious, maybe stuck up girl, her dark sunglasses and dead expression, her mouth pulled into a tight line. But she didn't just want to go smiling down the hall at nothing like an idiot, and she was tired, she had just got back from going out. She had wanted to go for a run, but forgot once she was done getting ready and didn't think she had anymore time. She had two more pounds to lose, and those two pounds just weren't budging as easily as the others. Arms kept still at her side, she listened to the sound of the black wedges on her feet. She had learned some useful information, there was a new girl, who the name of was edging at her mind, and she was fighting to recover, it, but the new girl was her roommate she believed. She didn't know when this girl would be coming or how old or who she was, but she just knew she wouldn't be alone anymore. She wasn't really alone, she had been there for awhile and didn't care about sleeping by herself it didn't really matter to her. Alia had already made herself at home, with posters strewn about the walls, one of her favorite books The Vampire Diaries, was one of them, she just liked the books not the Tv Show, they missed so many things. So she only had the premiere poster of it, and didn't watch the show itself, ever. Listening to the girls around her, she had grown used to them talking to their roommates, going on and on, and she didn't care. Her face still wearing a serious expression, she came to the door with her lips pursed. Looking at the number, even though she had memorized where her dorm was, she knew that her room was clean, all she had to do was throw her suit cases in the closet, as she was already unpacked. She had this thing to her that was always cleaning, sort of an OCD thing, so her whole room was scented in a way and clean, and as she turned the knob and opened the door she saw the girl.
She was quite pretty, blonde hair and such. Smiling, Alia ran her hand down her draping pony tail. Alia smiled, her blue irises blinking as she looked at the girl. Oh you must be.... Lauren! Or, Cal, as I have heard. Smiling, Alia lifted up each one of her long legs, and slipped off her black heels, before very neatly, walking over and laying them beside her bed. Flopping down, Alia smiled crossing her legs and holding her toes, bending them in what looked like an uncomfortable position that would snap them, but was a regular action for Alia. She did that when she was thinking. Smiling, Alia introduced herself. I'm Alia, if you didn't know that. How's Blue Ridge so far? Smiling again, Alia sighed, and looked around, planning on giving the girl some space to put up whatever she wanted. This should be fun.

Laurena could hear someone coming down the hallway from where she was sitting. As he heard the door knob turn, she sat up a little straighter. In walked a tall, dark haired girl. The way she smiled at her as she entered comforted Laurena, as if maybe her roommate wouldn't be a total drag, and that maybe they'd be friends. But, the second the girl opened her mouth, she was off to a bad start.
Laurena, not Lauren. She smiled, and realized she sounded a little mean in saying that. One of her major pet peeves is when people call her Lauren -- and it happened all of the time in high school. The idiot substitute teachers would either call her "Laura" or "Lauren", but never "Laurena". She blames her mother for this, as Laurena has to be one of the most unorthodox combination of names in the world. Heh, yeah, I go by Cal. You see, my middle name is Callum, which is totally a boy's name! Her parents thought she was going to be a boy, so her mother had picked out the name "Callum" for him. But, when she was born, and turned out to be a girl, her crestfallen mother just couldn't part with the name, and had it be her middle name. Her mother was like that, with the unorthodox names and such. It used to be "Cal" for "Callum", but now I like "Cal" for "California", because that's where I'm from, and because, as far as I have seen, it is the polar opposite of Kentucky. The girl flopped down onto the bed, and gave Laurena an idea of her personality. She appeared pretty laid back, so far. She positioned her chair so that she faced the girl. Laurena loves making eye contact, and uses it as sort of a "challenge", to see who will break first. The girl introduced herself as Alia. She liked that name. Blue Ridge? So far, so good. My mare is supposed to be arriving sometime this week. I'm dying to go riding. Other than that, it's okay. What about you?
