She's quick to help people.
Delilah loves to learn from others, though she learns best when watching from afar. She's a very relax, easy going person and is totally fine with going with the flow day after day. She likes to dress up on occassion, but she's far from prissy. She's very willing to go out and train horses all day, go mudding, or roll around in the grass.

Appearance>> Delilah has medium length, wavy brown hair. She doesn't do much in terms of styling her hair, but rather washes it and lets it fall the way it would like. She has a naturally pretty face and doesn't put much makeup on it, choosing to stay natural. She has large, very pretty eyes that have always been a focal point, never going unnoticed it seems.
She has a rather curvy, though not at all overweight, figure that a lot of guys back in her youth tried everything to see up closer. Her style is all over the place, but typically consists of jeans and a tank top and boots. Some days, you'll find her in a dress, others shorts; it all depends on her mood.

But I’ve gotta let it go
Medical History>> Broken arm, broken rib
Criminal History>> Delilah has gotten into trouble as a young teen, but she never had to stay more than a night in jail, and it was only for small infractions such as graffiti.
Full History>> Delilah's story started in Kentucky. She was born to an alcoholic mother and a wonderful father who trained and competed horses. From a young age, Delilah discovered how mean, controlling, and bitter her mother was. For that reason, she grew up at the barn with her father. That is where she learned all she could about barn management, horse care, riding, and training. Her father was a well known trainer who was highly sought after, and he and Delilah were very close.
However, when Delilah was eleven, her father was killed in a freak horse accident. During a training session with a young colt, the rare colored colt he knew would be a champion, the yearling was spooked, rearing up and lashing out, striking her father in the temple. Her father was badly injured, and on the way to the hospital, he passed away. They later found out that his skull had been dented and pierced his brain. Delilah was there, as she always was to help, and witnessed the ordeal. It scarred her, and she was never the same.
Now, she was faced with the problem of who would raise her. Her mother worked at Walmart and was drunk every night. Delilah put up with the verbal abuse and taking on all the responsibilities her father had left behind, unhappily doing what she must. She watched sadly as all but one horse was sold, her father's champion stallion remained. He was still young, only a yearling. The horse was her father's pride and joy next to Delilah, and although it pained her to see the animal that killed him, she knew he would never have wanted the horse to go anywhere else. She fought tooth and nail with her mother to keep the horse, and finally, when they had made enough money to live off of for a bit selling his other show horses, she allowed the horse to stay.
That stallion sat in the field for three years with nothing but occasional grooming and ground work seeing as no one would allow an eleven year old to work with him. But at the age of thirteen, she decided she was done listening to others. Her mother had gotten worse, and Delilah stayed away as much as possible. She went to the barn and worked with the horse, taking many falls from the spirited, unhandled horse. But within two years, she had him back under control, a well behaved gentleman.
After being turned away from show rings because she was too young to show a stallion, she angrily rebelled against everything. She got involved with the wrong crowd, falling victim to drinking just as her mother had. She was always at parties, drinking and doing stupid, vandalizing things. Luckily, she was never caught drinking, or else she never would have had the chance to work at Blue Ridge.
At seventeen, she ran away from home with her stallion, finishing her senior year at a different school while working and living in a barn nearby. Her mother didn't seem to notice the difference and never went to find her. Delilah continued to work at the barn, though she was fired at nineteen for her drinking problem. Once again homeless, she and her horse took off. She found work in a different barn and sent herself to a rehab group to give up drinking once and for all.
After sobering up, she became certified as a trainer and decided to find work somewhere she had a chance of growing in. Blue Ridge Academy was her saving grace, her chance for a fresh start.
