Personality: Vio has a fighting spirit. He is determined and he can tell when he is doing well. He is also an attention sleeper. He loves to be pet and to be groomed and he loves to have his picture taken. Some even say that he will pose for pictures. He in intelligent and though, he loves Makayla, he has a mind of his own. He makes decisions for himself. If he doesn't want to go over a jump, he wont do it. If he doesn't want to come when he is called, he won't. But, he isn't stubborn in the least. Most of the time, he does listen to Makayla. There are just a few times where he gets strong willed. He is also courageous. He hasn't spooked at a jump since he was in training. He is bold and cocky. He isn't afraid of much of anything. He is fine with dogs and cats and cows and chickens and farming equipment alike. Vio isn't really all that easy of a ride. If he senses that a person in nervous or frightened, he will use that to his full advantage. He needs a strong confident rider in order to be the best that he can. He likes to run fast and it doesn't take much to get him to change directions or leads. He listens well if he has a strong rider with him.
History: Well, one would have to start out saying that Makayla's parents splurged a little bit when they purchased Vio for her. They had been talking about buying her a horse for months and had been saving their money to buy her a nice one since she was a baby. They imported Mr. Zlvio Titha from the Netherlands when he was a colt ( about 2 and a half). They purchased him for about 50,000 dollars. They knew that he had excellent lines. He came from Lucipor and Harleem. Both, were successful show jumpers. Now, they didn't bring him home right away. They had a good family friend keep him at their barn, to keep him from Makayla. Makayla would have been nine years old at the time. The kept him there and trained him well. They were worried about his personality though and how he would do with their daughter. But, after six years had passed and Makayla had finally been introduced to her horse, they bonded like superglue and paper. There had been an instant connection and Makayla fell in love with him instantly.
