Personality:
Pan has varying moods, like any horse. To anybody he appears a grouch, but towards Bella he is protective, and sweet tempered. Pan can be lazy, and unusually grumpy if the weather is good, and prefers sleeping to work. However he is excitable and active if it is raining or cloudy.
History:
Pan was a failure at being a racehorse. He never could find his stride and was beaten into running. Sometimes so badly that he bled. He was sold as a 4 year old, and retrained as a show-jumper. Despite his small size, Pan showed amazing ability over the bigger jumps. Bella saw an advert for him, and bought him untried.
They had their ups and downs, the downs still out number the ups. Yet after the accident, Bella could do nothing more than spend time with Pan in his paddock. It paid off when their bond grew stronger than anything else.

Personality:
Strong willed, stubborn and opinionated are just 3 words to describe Star. She gives Bella all her days, and is a good challenge for any rider. She is a brat, and pulls her ears back for anything. She also bites, but is learning not to do this. She acts like she owns the place, and prefers her own company or Pan's but finds it hard to interact with other horses in a well mannered way.
Star owns the show ring with her presence, and knows when the spotlight is on her. Her naughty streaks disappear and she is an angel.
History:
Bella only recently acquired Star, however she did ride her for several months, training her for the riding school to see if she would be a suitable riding school horse. Because of Star's personality, the riding school saw her unfit for being a school horse. So the opportunity arose to buy her, and Bella didn't think twice.
Star was bred on a stud farm in Washington and was backed at a training facility in Michigan. She was mainly trained in dressage, but proved to be a good jumper as well. Bella is training her further to become her main competition horse later when Pan retires, or if Pan gets injured.
