Personality: He is a bugger, almost like his owner. Misery is a grump most days, and other days he's an idiot. He really can't be friendly towards people, mainly because he doesn't like them. He has a habit of causing as much chaos as possible and then looks angelic when discovered. His expenses with rugs reach astronomical heights in the winter months, not that he cares. He was only gelded a year ago, so he still thinks that he's a stallion. A miracle in the show ring, and coward at home. He really is scared of everything, including his own shadow. He is not a beginners horse, and not even the more advanced riders will dare go near him. The horse does seem imposing, but when that odd day comes, he's a sweetheart. It must be savoured then.
History: Misery was bred in Holland, and passed his stallion grading with wonderful comments. He was exported to a stud in Dublin, aged four, and then started his career there. He was trained in dressage, and did well on the showing circuit. Though his personality was somewhat of a let down, he was put up for sale. Marc saw this ad one day while at home during Christmas, and went to see the horse. He fell in love with the gelding, and proceeded to buy him. After having him for three years, he was gelded and seems better than he was before.
