Cannon decided that he needed to make a change to his schedule and life. Living off of his parents' money, and whatever he had won in his last eventing show, was not a good way for him to be handling his life. This was his time, his year, why live it on someone else's rules?
He led Bully up to the Farrier's barn, not knowing if they'd be there or not, but hoping so. Bully needed to be re-shod, and this time, he was paying for it. He may or may not have been looking for a job as well, but he'd just have to see if that would work out.
As the Thoroughbred pulled at his lead shank, prancing to his side and swinging his bum out wide, Cannon rolled his eyes, giving the lead a tight yank to correct the proud and unpredictable gelding next to him. Bully huffed and fell back into line, quickly becoming bored again and pawing at the ground, wondering what it was he was woken up from his nap for.
It wasn't until the horse started to nip at his arms did Cannon become a bit irate with him. "There's no need for that, you pain in the bum." He said with an annoyed roll of his eyes. He hoped he'd be able to find the farrier soon, otherwise, he might just give up and send the gelding into the round pen to cool off.
