Becca sat at one of the study tables, her books spread around her. Elbows propped rather ungracefully over her notes, she leaned close to them so that her nose almost touched the paper, coming up for air once in a while to look around what what was happening (or rather what wasn't happening) around her. It wasn't that she disliked the library. No, she quite liked reading certain books when she had the time and mood for it. It was just that now, having to study there in the too-quietness of it, she was growing rather impatient for company.
The fact of the matter was that Becca could have studied in her dorm room, with no risk of being distracted since she had a single room in the Blue Ribbon House. That was why she was here, actually. Though she wouldn't admit it her herself, she'd come to the library in some hope that there would be people to watch around her and keep her from going insane while studying. But there was an unfortunate lack of activity, and Becca was stuck in the same position of forced productiveness that she'd have been in in her room. Maybe even worse, since there she had her laptop, and she hadn't thought to bring it with her.
Chewing idly at the eraser of her pencil, she looked around, praying that something would catch her eye. Going back to her dorm would mean defeat, and she had quite a bit of the time she'd allotted for studying left. The thing was, that Becca liked to stick to the schedules she made for herself, and for today, she'd seemed to put too much time for studying. She'd quickly memorized what she needed to know, had gone over the concepts about a million times, and now, was just about bored to death.

Frowning in slight frustration, Cello was rather bored sitting there alone in his dorm. While he did have a roommate, the lad wasn’t currently in at the moment and the brunette was certainly getting lonely. Once again, the boy didn’t know why he hadn’t brought some kind of pet when he came. There was an animal shelter in town however, and as the hours passed, he was contemplating getting straight up to go get something that he could snuggle. The boy had been done with the majority of his homework and he had already gone to see Max. There really was nothing he could really do.
Eyeing some of the few Spanish novels he’d brought along with him on his nightstand, Cello crinkled his nose. Reading was far too boring when he was rereading things. He’d already read all three of them over the plane and it was far too soon to read them all over again. He knew he’d be skipping to all his favorite parts anyway. Suddenly, the boy was hit with a great idea. Certainly, some of the books in the library would be just as good. Even though they were in English, they’d provide a difficult read for him, but Cello was determined to test out all his English training.
Escaping out of his dorm with a fancy flip of his key, the brunette soon found himself actually jogging. Exercise was certainly something he actually enjoyed; especially bulldozing people over in American football. They had actually started a team in Spain, and Cello had soon transferred from rugby to football. It was interesting to pair his love of travel and sports together. He had joined the team at BRRA as well. Nodding to the few people that he’d almost run into, Cello slowed to a walk as he came to the entrance of the library.
Breathing hard, the boy entered humming quite loudly to himself. While they certainly had libraries in Spain, Cello was just being his annoying self. He shot a cheeky grin to the librarian as he sang even a bit louder as he waltzed over to the rows of books. The woman shot him back a dirty look in which he responded to a nod until she actually came over to him and gave him a lecture on being loud. Due to her actually quite angry face, Cello felt a bit bad. Giving her an apologetic nod, it took him half a second to get over her lecture on go back onto his usual happy self.
Before he could find a book to amuse himself with, Cello caught sight of a girl between a gap in the many books in the shelf. Grinning softly to himself, he figured it wouldn’t hurt to flirt or make a friend. Cello opened the gap a bit more, before sticking his head in so it appeared as if his face was sticking out of the shelf. He watched the redhead for a moment before offering her his signature cheeky smile. “Hola chica.” he said finally to get her attention in hopes he’d freak her out maybe a little.

Needless to say, Becca was sort of losing hope in her cause when she first heard the humming. It seemed as if no one interesting would be joining her in the library that day, and she may have to return to the loneliness of her room earlier than she'd wanted to. She really did like being in the Blue Ribbon House with her private room, which she was grateful for more often than not, but she would like some company. She'd always loved cats, but had never been able to get one because her father was allergic to them, but she was considering getting one now that she was here.
The humming continued to progressed into singing, and Becca had to keep herself from getting up to see who it was. It sounded as if her wait had been worth it. The singing stopped suddenly and Becca could just hear the murmur of voices, and she figured that the singer had been silenced. She managed to keep herself in her chair as she stared towards the sound, chin propped up on her hand, though her elbow was beginning to get sore from pressing onto the surface of the table.
Though she was paying attention to see who the singer would be, she was still shocked when a couple books on a shelf moved aside and a face came into view. Breath catching in her throat, her eyes popped open wide, and she grabbed the edge of the table with her hands immediately stiff as a board. When she realized that it was just some boy having fun with her, she was able to relax and bit and easily fell into something that was half grin, half smirk, with her eyebrows knit up. "Hello-?" Despite her scare, she was still able to reply to his greeting quickly enough, without much hesitation, though granted, it wasn't much.
