The cold air nipped at Abraham's cheeks as he got out of the passenger's seat of his mother's car. He kissed his mother on the cheek before grabbing his suitcases out of the trunk. Two suitcases contained everything that he would need for the tenure of his stay at Blue Ridge. His mother wiped a single tear from her cheek as she waved bye to her youngest, and only son. A huge grin ran across Abraham's face as he raised his left hand to wave. This was it; he could finally expand on both his academic interests as well as his equestrian ones. Lost in thought, the sound of his mother's horn startled him, as she honked her horn to blow her son one last kiss. Abraham mouthed "I love you" to her, and watched as she drove away.
Abraham took a suitcase in each arm and walked down the path, towards the Main Office. Thankfully, it wasn't a hard place to find, as signs were conveniently placed to aid newcomers. Sure enough, the Main Office came into view. Abraham walked up to the door, and set one of his suitcases down, opened up the door, propped it open with his back, and drug his suitcases inside. It was much warmer in there than it had been outside. He set his two suitcases down in the sitting area, and took a seat. He pulled a piece of paper out of his jacket pocket. The paper contained his class schedule, as well as his dorm name, and room number. He ran his hand through his hair as he waited for someone to greet him, and hopefully point him in the correct direction of the White Ribbon House.
