Jayne, with the help of her foster parents, unloaded the car and took all of her belongings up to her new dorm room. Well, truth be told, all she carried up was her day bag, as the heavy stuff had been delivered to the Academy a couple of days earlier.
Once her foster mother had help her set the room up; putting up the curtains and making the bed. Her room had a very sophisticated black, white and pink theme, they stepped back and looked at the room. Jayne nodded, pleased with how it looked. "Thanks." She whispered as she hugged the woman who had looked after her for the past two years.
She followed the two adults back down to their car where she hugged both of them tightly. She had grown up in foster homes all of her life and knew that being at a boarding school would really be no different from what she was used to, except she now really had to fend for herself. "What's this?" She asked as her foster father handed her an envelope.
"In case of emergencies." He said as he gave her a kiss on the cheek and climbed into his car.
Jayne waved as they drove off and then turned around to walked back into the building that she would now call home. As she walked up the stairs, she opened the envelope and arched her eyebrows as the credit card she found inside with a simple note There is no limit on this in the cursive handwriting of her foster mother.
She reached the floor that her room was on and headed down to her room, held held high, chin tilted just so, walking as though she owned the place.
