Age>> August 14th; 15
Staff or Student>> Student

Face Claim>> Erika Toda
Turn away 'cause I need you more
Personality>> Ashleigh is like the complete opposite of her brother. She'd rather not take risks that could potentially cause injury to her and likes to keep both herself and others out of harm's way. She's very caring and compassionate, though she does have a competitive streak that rivals her brother's when things get… competitive.
She's very friendly and sweet and is a lot like her brother in that she's outspoken and not shy at all, though she knows how to act meek and timid to get what she wants, if she ever has to stoop that low. Above all, Ashleigh values honesty and doesn't like conflict that much, though she has been known to confront people in the past over something she felt strongly about.
Likes>> Classical music, water, staying healthy, track, taking long walks
Dislikes>> Loud music, junk food, low-standard achievers, loud noises, tall horses
Fears>> Snakes, walking down the streets at night by herself
Hopes>> To make several friends here at BRRA, to compete at a national level
Secrets>> She once took her brother’s gelding out for a ride…
It’s the way I’m feeling I just can’t deny
Appearance>> Ashleigh, like her brother, takes a lot after her Japanese family, moreso than her brother, actually. Her hair falls perfectly straight to an area below her shoulders and parts naturally to the side. She has bangs that fall to her eyebrows that she sometimes styles to the side and sometimes simply lets them fall straight down, almost into her eyes, which are coal black just like her brothers.
She takes after her father's side of the family, the woman, at any rate, and is extremely short and very petite, standing at five feet and two inches and barely weighing over a hundred and ten pounds most of the time, though she eats extremely healthy. As far as her personal clothing style, Ashleigh tends to gravitate towards the cuter, stylish clothes that are still practical for everyday use. She does like to accessorize with anything from headbands to necklaces and bracelets, though.
Markings>> Ears pierced once each
But I’ve gotta let it go
Medical History>> Had the basic childhood illnesses, broke her wrist when she was ten
Criminal History>> ---
Full History>> Ashleigh was born in the state of Washington to a Japanese father and American mother. She already had a brother who was a year older then herself. Ash's parents were pretty wealthy, as her mother was a lawyer and his father was a surgeon, and the girl, alongside her brother, was raised in the middle of the city, though from the age of four onwards she took riding lessons at the local stable, where she followed in her brother's footsteps and learned to ride on the same stocky Clydesdale/Quarterhorse cross mare as her only sibling and slowly moved up as she learned more.
Her parents divorced when he was seven and his mother choose to let Ash and her bro live with their father, as she worked more than their father and couldn't be home with them as much as their father could. Ashleigh and her brother still got to see their mother one weekend a month and they always spent half the summer with her and alternating Christmases. Her mother was always encouraging and made it to anything she could that her children were a part of. Ashleigh, like her brother, also got a horse at the age of eight, and she took her first spill off her personal horse when she was ten. She broke her wrist in the fall.
Ashleigh was eleven when her brother got bit several times by a poisonous snake and nearly died. She worried constantly over him each and every time he was hospitalized. Her fear of snakes actually came about because of Chris, as he used to catch Garden Snakes and chase her with them when they were younger.
Now, her father has decided, with the approval of her mother, to send Ash and her brother to Blue Ridge Riding Academy, hoping that being at the Academy will better her riding skills and teach her new things.
