Sorry guys the reason i haven't been on for ages is well cuz... Fudgey was put to sleep on 2nd feb due to bad colic he had been suffering for just under a week and the vet advised his owner to have him put to sleep. Now for all the older members you will remember that Fudge was my own horse from around mid marchish time until early september. He had a reputation for being a grumpy beast most of the time. But he was my first horse and he taught me alot before I semi-retired him and, sold him on to his current owner. We did alot together BSJA, dressage and even had a go at XC. Fudge was 29 and he will be missed by everyone R.I.P Fudge Cake

OMG Emma, I am so sorry to hear that. The positive way you can look at it is that he is no longer in pain. You should create a scrapbook of all the photos you have of him.

aww, Emma <3. You two had a great running, and he was adorable. You could tell he was happy in the pictures you posted a while back. I had a really bad 2009 year. Let's hope you're going to have a better year this year than I personally did last year. I'm sure he's missed greatly by his owner, and your family. I know the feeling of losing someone you love greatly, it's happened three times this past year. If you wanna talk, just hit me up with a PM. I'm there for you <3.

Ty guys for all the nice comments, means alot to me. Im glad that since he was being kept at the riding school yard where Lewis is kept that, I was able to be there to say my goodbye to my beloved old friend. R.I.P Baby Boy you may not of had the best start in life, being a race horse so young, then being sold to a unkind show jumping home, Then being in the auctions with an unknown future, and then being in the riding school for about 2 years before finally coming to me. R.I.P Baby.
