Full Name: Cody James Hennig
Nick Names: C.J.
Student or Staff: staff; stable manager/keeper full-time (Red Willow Barn)
Age: 22
Ethnicity: white
Gender: male
Physical Description:
height: 6'1"
weight: 180
Tall, with lighter skin and shoulder-length dirty-blond hair, he looks a bit like a hippie, with a goatee and his sort of easygoing sort of slouch to him. Found wearing jeans and cowboy boots, along with t-shirts, usually dark in color. And around his neck, there is always a cross, usually alternating between a few different ones.
Personality:
Cody has this sort of easygoing sort of attitude about him. He doesn't rush things, and while generally trying to follow logic, his heart always seems to get in the way. While not particularly outgoing, he has this sort of brooding sort of air to him. He doesn't go out of his way to talk to people, but at the same time he wont turn down a conversation. He has a big heart, but he's afraid to let anyone in. But again, he is ruled by his emotions and what feels right, so if he were to ever find someone, he wouldn't be able to ignore his feelings easily. His daughter, Kimmie, is the center of his world.
Background:
Cody was born in Tennessee to a pair of hippie parents growing up in the seventies. Growing up, he experienced a carefree experience. Both parents weren't particularly protective, and the boy ended up running around all over the place, all by himself. Many parents scoffed at their parenting style, but Cody enjoyed his childhood, loving how trusting they were.
Perhaps the loose leash was what lead to his somewhat reckless choices as a teen, or maybe it was just natural teenage behavior. Whatever the case, Cody became quite intimate with a girl when he was seventeen. The two were attacked at the hip, and went much further than most parents would be comfortable knowing. The girl, who's name was Julie, turned up pregnant. The two seventeen year old's would become parents sooner than planned, but they were determined to stick together.
Eight months into the pregnancy, Julie had a complication in the pregnancy. Blood pressure spiking, she went into shock. It became too dangerous for the baby, and so labor was induced. The baby, while a month premature, was healthy, if a bit fragile. Julie was not so lucky. The shock, plus the labor was too much. The now eighteen year old died, leaving her new daughter, and Cody behind.
Cody was left with a hard decision after her death. Put his new daughter up for adoption, or try and take care of her on his own? His parents, both hippies who lived on nearly nothing, didn't have the money to help him support a newborn baby. He, only just graduating from high school, didn't have the money either. He was sure he should put his girl up for adoption. He couldn't take care of her. But then he saw her, and got to hold her... and she completely stole his heart. All he had left of Julie, and something that he helped make... and he couldn't do it.
So, Cody got a job at a storage factory, taking care of his daughter on his own. He struggled for a year before getting a job at a horse stable. Growing up, he had road a lot, multiple friends having horses that he rode. Finding an opening, which happened to pay more than his factory job, he applied. Somehow, he was accepted. He spent the next three years there. In addition to working, he also began riding more, occasionally bringing his daughter, Kimmie.
Eventually, the stable he worked at closed down, and Cody was left unemployed. Searching some want adds, he eventually got word that a school in Kentucky. Calling the school up, he got some employment information. They sent paperwork, which he filled out and sent back. A week later he was called back, told he was hired, and that he could start in two weeks. So, packing up what he had, Kimmie and he moved over to the next state to start afresh.
Misc.: Cody is a single father who is just trying to do what is best for his little girl. He plays the guitar, and is broodingly silent, but is ruled by emotion. He is reluctant to love again, but the truth is, he needs someone.

Full Name: Kimberly Marie Hennig
Nick Names: Kimmie, Kim, Kimber,
Student or Staff: n/a
Age: 4
Ethnicity: white
Gender: female
Physical Description:
height: 3'1"
weight: 35lbs
Kimmie is a small girl with light brown hair that goes down to about the middle of her back, along with big, greenish eyes. Fair skin, she usually wears jeans and shirts, or almost tomboyish dresses. Being raised by a guy, she isn't particularly girlish, and is often found dirty.
Personality:
Kimmie is a huge tomboy. She is often found doing all sorts of things little boys do, and is always getting dirty. With a deep love for horses, she adores living at a school that centers around the animals. An outgoing child, she is sweet and adventurous, always running off and getting into loads of trouble. However, she can be such an angel, Cody is completely wrapped around her finger. She can also wrap just about anyone around her finger with simple ease.
Background:
Kimmie was born a month premature, her mother dying during the childbirth. Growing up, all she has really had is her father, along with grandparents. Her mother's parents were always extremely protective, and tended to try and spoil her. However, being such a tomboy, and being given so many girly toys, she was never really interested in them. She loved hanging with her father's parents though, enjoying sitting on the floor of the trailer, listening as Grandpa Hennig told stories of his childhood.
Not being able to remember much of her first year of life, Kimmie practically has spent her entire life in stables with horses. Due to this, she simply adores all things horses. After the stable's closed her father got a new job at a school in Kentucky. Kimmie is excited to see the horses and live in that new place.
Misc.: Kimmie is a tomboy who is a total and complete daddy's girl. She doesn't really know what she's missing with a mother, and she's never really known why she needs one. She just wants her daddy to be happy.
