I was bored the other night so i took some piccies of the riding school horses: Areo, a total bugger tbh has thrown me off twice but he has an amazing jumping ability and he is special to the riding school as he is the last Appaloosa there as Spot the other one died about 2 years ago - (HAHA bless him he's behind bars) Bob, absolute babe (but a lazy arse) was imported from Ireland as a 3 yr old and hunted and farmed until he was 10 before being brought by the riding school 6 years ago - Dom, one of the newbies he's a gentle giant- Missy 2, a total angel is you ask me she's getting on abit now being 20 but she's still going - Monkey, some people might remember I loaned him for like 2/3 weeks up until I brought Lewis. He was a talented jumper but had a right temper sometimes - Rosie, one of the youngest riding school horses at the age of 8 but she is amazingly gentle and quiet - Sparky, the Thoroughbred ex-racehorse was brought off the track 10 years ago by the riding school to be a ride for the more advanced riders. - (Hehe bless he's also behind bars) Spy, the devilish pony is one of the two oldest ponies still in work at the riding school, him and Cancan are both 38 this year (Cancan is 13hh and Spy is 11.2hh) - Star, she's sucha babe although she can have her bad days she's sooo cute - Todd, he is a gentle giant Clydesdale x TB me thinks and he is a livery who is sometimes used in lessons. - & thats SOME of the over 40 riding school horses

yer i kno but they only work like 3 half hour lessons a week. The other old ones are, Myrtille (14hh shes 34 going on 35) and Mars (12hh shes 29 going on 30) but the riding school has staff with 20 years of experience that live on site and equine vets a 5 min drive away in the centre of the city and these ponies are basiclly retired now, doing only a few odd lessons a week.
