So you may or may not know (more like 'may not') that I really love music and making music.

I got a guitar for my birthday and am having the time of my life teaching myself to play. I sorta play the piano, so I'm the musically challenged creature that I was 3 years ago.

So I'm asking all the musical people or not so musical, if you can recommend any easy-to-learn guitar songs. Or if there's a song that you think I should learn the it's also open to you.

Don't try to "learn a song". I made that mistake several years ago. Get a book on chords and try playing a few of them. Then make up your own songs. When you can play your most complicated song with out looking down too much, then, and only then can you go try a cover of another song.
