Physical Description: Years of physical work outside gave Austin a soldier’s body, with the ability to endure an extreme amount of physical duress that he constantly pushes in order to “be able to run faster than anyone trying to catch me.” With dark brown eyes and hair cut close, he stands at six feet and is extremely imposing.
Personality:
Austin comes off as cold and harsh. What little he has to say is always laced with sarcasm- a verbal weapon he’s mastered- but he rarely find anything worth responding to. He doesn’t like anyone to pay attention to him, perfectly content in his lone-wolf world, and though he could easily take charge of any situation, prefers to sit back and watch other people struggle. However this isn’t out of malice, rather a backwards way of allowing the other to learn from themselves rather than having it done for them. He has a powerful work ethic and believes nothing should be handed to you. He doesn’t believe that anyone should sit around and whine about their problems and finds that a major weakness in others that he refuses to see in himself. Because of this he is rather rash and impulsive, and does not consider authority figures as anything other than people standing in his way. He will take direction but will always do it his own way. At times, Austin can lose control of his anger, and uses physical exhaustion as an outlet.
With others, Austin is very closed off. He trusts very few people and finds annoying traits in almost everyone that he rudely comments about until they just go away. He hardly ever feels challenged in his alpha dog status because he never considers others in his world.
Beneath the rough exterior, Austin is fiercely loyal and needs to learn to trust in order to survive.
Background: Born to a wealthy family in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Austin faced a world of betrayal. At the age of thirteen, he caught his father with another woman. For months he worked on keeping it hidden from his mother, until the woman came over and flat out demanded the family split. Austin and his mother moved to Blue Ridge Kentucky and lost most of their savings in the divorce. To maintain a decent lifestyle, Austin quit school for a few years and worked with a building contractor. He became caught up in a group of delinquents, and committed various misdemeanors that were more for entertainment and stress release than harm. Having been labeled a trouble kid, as well as not being enrolled in school, Austin was a police target. He was dragged into the station after a particular incident with joyriding the latest Mustang models, and propositioned the officers to fix up their cars rather than throw him in jail for a few months, which he knew would kill his mother. Now with a reputation at Blue Ridge which he says he cares little about, Austin must behave himself in order to get the police off of his back.
However, his father has recently started contacting him, and Austin cannot loose his cool.
