Personality: He is a professional. He is very strict, and pushes his students and riders very hard. Often they don’t like his coaching at the time but they appreciate him later. He gets along with people really well however and is very charismatic. He is always on time, and he keeps track of his records very well. He can get angry sometimes, but he is calm when he handles his anger. He doesn’t shout though he always speaks with a strict tone to his voice.
Background: He grew up in Kentucky on a racing farm that has been family run for many years. He learned how to ride as an exercise rider for his parents, but he never really liked it much. His parents took note of this and gave him an off the track thoroughbred to train and ride to do whatever he wanted. He started taking lessons at an eventing barn and rehabilitated the horse to be his eventing horse. He then studied the sport in Germany for three years upon graduating high school. He realized then that he didn’t so much care about riding and winning as he did teaching and showing others the joy of the fantastic sport.
