Melissa loved to run. The girl wasn't a serious sport athlete, but she absolutely loved to feel her legs pounding against the earth as though she was a horse herself, running with a herd.
Her blond hair was caught into a ponytail to keep it away from her face. A pair of shorts on her legs felt unnatural, but Melissa felt it was necessary for the activity of running as she was doing.
Surprisingly, Melissa was a basketball player. It was her niche in the vast world of sports-without-the-aid-of-equines. She wove through the taller players like a needle sewing. She was just as startled by her talent as anyone. She figured she'd gotten it from her birth mother or father.
Now, the reason Melissa was out on the track in the morning was so that she might be able to join the basketball team here. It's not like she was out of shape - riding wouldn't allow that - but it was always good to keep your endurance up.

============+++============ I thought I, was healin up I was doin fine, I felt like, I haven't felt, in a long long time ============+++============ Bay walked aimlessly around campus. He just needed some time to sit somewhere and think without any disturbances. There were just a lot of things going on. He wasn't stressed, he just had some things on his mind. The track and field, from what he had seen of it, was always empty. Practice hadn't started yet, and was generally to hot for runners. His curly hair bounced lightly with his steps.
His fit frame entered the field, for a second, he didn't seen anybody, but then, his blue eyes caught a glance of someone running around the far end of the track. He strained to see who it was, his orbs staring like a eagle on it's prey. Finally, it came to him. Her name was Melissa. The boy remembered the awkward meeting they had just a doy or two prior to this. He wasn't in the mood for talking to anyone, especially someone really weird, who didn't really make that much sense. Besides, she would probably give him a unexpected, awkward, weird, uncomforatble random hug again. He quickly looked back to the entrance, maybe he wasn't noticed yet and he could sneak back out. ============+++============ But its how funny how life Can put you in a place where you been before and leave you lyin' there like a begger Knockin on the door ============+++============ Outfit: +++ Lyrics: Clay Walker-- I Hate Nights Like This Notes: xP Muse will get better!

Melissa hadn't noticed Bay, in fact she was, as usual, in a world of her own. That is, until, she felt eyes on her. She paused and shivered, then looked around, her keen eyes searching. She spotted Bay, and recognised him, but made no move to go toward him, instead taking a few steps back.
The boy was making her nervous. She hated hostile thoughts or glares. With ESP, then multiplied until they were unbearable, which was one reason why Melissa had left her last school. The students had given her headaches from the constant hate.
She was panting a bit from her run. Endurance was tough, but the fourteen year old welcomed the challenge. She was walking at the moment, and she turned to the start, feeling her stomach growl a bit from hunger. Forgeting breakfast was a comman habit.
The girl looked at the watch on her wrist, which she'd set to the stopwatch feature. She lowered herself into a starting crouch, and took a few steadying breaths, before jumping to a sprint and pressing the watch's starting button. She ran hard, feeling the dislike from Bay still echoing in her racing blood, feeling it push her faster to escape it.

Notes: There is a point to this RP... Hopefully.

============+++============ I thought I, had escaped this pain in my heart But it knew right where to find me Like a ghost in the dark ============+++============ The boy looked back to the girl. It would appear that she hadn't noticed him as it looked like she was fixing to seriously run around the track. She was crouched in the postion he had seen the Olympians start in races. It wasn't that he hated her, he just found her strange. Not even is father hugged him with both arms, so it was just an uncomfortable feeling. But, if he did leave, he would have defeated the whole purpose of coming here, to get away from the hustle and bustle of the school that seemed to loom everywhere else.
He turned to the bleachers, and strolled over, sitting on the closest one he came too. His elbows rested on his thighs as he studied the ground. The warm sun was starting to beat down on his over shirt. Melissa hadn't made it around to the side of the track he was on yet, and if she did, he didn't even know if she would stop. He noticed the spotted dalmation wasn't with her this time, well if it was, he didn't see it. Thinking about dalmations reminded him of the movies, and of course, the one with no spots. He couldn't recall her name though.
Sitting there, Bay knew he needed to make several descions about his path in life. Why then, was he having such a hard time thinking about it? It was like his mind would try and find excuses to avoid the subject, even conversing with Melissa was one of them. ============+++============ Its alright, I'll be ok I'll just wait for the clouds Hit my knees, pray for rain To just fall down ============+++============ Outfit: +++ Lyrics: Clay Walker-- I Hate Nights Like This Notes: Haha, we will see
